Hi,
I am from Sri Lanka and bought a htc desire 820s phone a one week ago but the Highlights(Blink Feed) is displayed in chines language and there is no way to change the language to english. Another issue was there is no any option switch off the shutter sound of camera.
Then I checked the System Update section in About Phone in the Setting and it shows the firs update as a50ml_dtul_htccn_chs. I want to know was the update which causes above issues or some thing else and will there any updates to fix this matter?
and will those update be accessible from Sri Lanka?
Plase help me with this matter.

I got this phone in flipkart for only 18,999 !!! Someday. However, I didn't find it for that price anywhere else, even when flipkart announced electronics sale for 2days. The phone is worth buying. I got a white color one for 18999, lookswise it is very very good. Even the software is good. Never hangs,running smooth. There are no heating issues at all. The 5.5 inch screen is rocking,to watch YouTube and Facebook. Even the camera is pretty good.
I would certainly recommend this to everybody, of course you might know the specs,
2gb ram, 16 gb rom, 32 gb expandable, 13/8 mp camera.....
The cam is not soooooo good, but has several features.
"Overall, the phone is pretty good and stylish."

I bought this phone on 26 May it is excellent phone light weight, camera quality is also very good ,you just little bit compromise with battery life, i suggest go for it :)

I got this phone yesterday. I used "Get content from another phone" option to transfer my contacts from my old phone. It was done in less than a minute's time and it was working nicely. Today all of a sudden I see that only my whats app contacts and the contacts I manually saved are appearing in my contact. I didnt do anything at all. Contacts to be displayed is selected as "All contacts". Please help me.

You will see 9.5Mp when you set the preview size as Full Screen under settings (just below the picture size settings). You change the preview size to Standard (4:3) and you will see 13 MP option availbale

Hi,
Although the rear camera is 13mp..the adjustment for picture size is only for 9.5mp and same for front camera is 6mp.. the picture quality is also not great. Can someone tellme if this is a problem with all fones or only my piece
