it is not really water proof.. the performance of the phone and the design is good. i owned this mobile for 3 months no software updates as well as i found that the camera is not so good compared to my new nexus 5x. once i took this mobile to pool i found that the screen automatically lightning up and sometimes it just go blind. i dont know what the problem with htc is but i found that it is waste for money..

this is an excelent phone lads, i waited to make this review untill i had over 5 months with the phone, and it has been a blast, combined with my 128Gb memory card its behaviour has been great, 100% recommended

The front camera suddenly stopped working. 3 days ago, I cannot start my camera app (even if I try other capturing apps). I restarted the phone and it went back to normal. However, I cannot use the selfie camera anymore no matter how many times I restart. Whenever I swipe it to the "selfie" mode, the screen only stays in the main cam.

Got my Desire EYE last February, after a year plus, it still running smooth with android 6 updated. have my phone fitted with tempered glass protector and dot view case since day 1, been drop to ground few times from waist height, all working fine (only tempered glass protector cracked). tested few time answering phone while showering, no problem. Only thing is, it get hot (not warm) while playing online games (like Clash of clan...), online movie, music. Loud front speakers good for game and movie, and never miss a call in crowded place. Very satisfied with it.
