I am selfie-centric & I love this phone. I got it for 317 off of Amazon back in March, still running KitKat & the only thing I miss from that time was DO NOT DISTURB MODE, which was nice to activate in class. Now I just change my notification level to none, but I wish there was an easier shortcut for it. NOT A DEAL BREAKER. No longer am I concerned putting my phone on wet sinks, next to me when I wash the dishes, nor do I care if the humidity level in the room is above average, but this phone is water resistant ! There have been countless other phones trying to do what HTC Desire Eye does, like the ASUS Zenphone Selfie (no Quick Charge, worse chip), BLU Studio Selfie (not water resistant), Xperia C5 Ultra (is big phone, I really want to try it, but I have to wait for a Brazilian release to even get T-Mobile LTE bands), I can keep going, but I won't because THIS IS THE SELFIE PHONE FOR YOU. WHICH PHONE HAS ALWAYS ON FLASH IN THE FRONT CAMERA? WHICH PHONE HAS A FLAGSHIP CHIP IN IT? WHICH PHONE IS WATER RESISTANT? My only other regret is that HTC is a sinking ship, your phone will work long after HTC falls, just when it does, grab all the HTC accessories you can & prepare to learn how to root, ):

Is lollipop uddate has any faults. Im bit concerned to upgrade the phone to lollipop or not. Will battery drain quickly? Please help me. Thanks

I bought the HTC Desire Eye, and i can tell you that it's a perfect phone. I love it, camera is good, battery is good, charching is fast, the design is unique, i bought a 128 sd card. Go for it you won't regret

I disagree... The desire Eye is a great Phine and it charges very fast, with stock charger.. Awesome camera two.

No. It does get a little warm during heavy use or while charging but this is normal.

Very rarely. Some un-optimized apps have lagged but hardly anything to be concerned about.
>It has a smooth plastic back or a rough one?
It has a flat matte texture. fairly smooth.. can be slippery.
>Is Desire Eye better compared to Desire 820?
Spec wise I personally think the Eye is better. and the dual camera+flash is better.

Ideally it should recognize every number stored within. With or without the country code. Lakini these are first world problems bana..

hi guys, I have an HTC DESIRE EYE and its fantastic, but I have one issue. Our country prefix is +254 but locally we replace this by 0 when saving contacts ie +254 727*******but locally saved as 0727********* The problem is that every time I receive a text message from my save contacts it comes in as if from a new person with the prefix +254 727******. How can i link the messages to the contacts for the names to appear once a text message comes in??
