Lowlight shots are decent for me and macro shots are above average in my opinion. But as mentioned before, if the Eye's 13mp were to compete with other 13mp cameras, it would just be average, not the best or above average. overall camera isn't one of the most important things for me so maybe my opinion on the image quality might be wrong haha.

Water proof is one of the best feature...
I washed the mobile with water & it's reallly working very nice... :)

Hi to all people wanting to buy this phone. I posted my opinion before but will post an updated one. So for all those who wants to buy this phone, hope this helps.
I've had this phone since November 2014 till now. Currently mine is on Android 5.0.2
Pros:
>Display awesome and it is very bright( to the point it might be a con for some people) so I can use it under the sunlight with no problem( I live near equator, Borneo Island so it's damn sunny)
>Once again, HTC's Sense UI is simple and not bloated. I have used Asus Zen UI, Samsung and Sony but I always end up going back to HTC because Sense is very fluid and easy on the eyes.
>Dot view case with this phone is awesome, it is easily one of the more unique casing and I highly advise you to get it if you have a HTC phone if it's available for your model.
>Performance is awesome, I am a moderate user, mostly for web browsing, redditing and YouTube. I have yet to encounter a moment where I feel frustrated about the performance.
>The IPX7 rating is amazingly useful. I now have no fear of losing my phone due to water damages and I can call and use my phone in the shower if needed or under the rain.
>This phone is easily the coolest( looks and temperature) phone I have had till date. I can use it for long term without worrying overheating or getting to hot to hold in hand.
>The phone itself without casing is nice to hold as it isn't as slippery as the M8( one of the reasons i didn't choose the M8) and it is much cheaper from where I bought it even though personally I think this phone beats the M8 in value for money.
>Audio output via audio jack is amazing and better than most phones I've tried( I'm an audiophile a bit)
Cons
>Camera is just not bad just decent but I've seen other better 13mp camera. However if you are just using camera for everyday photo taking, it should still be ok.
>Audio speaker output is still awesome however compare to the M8, it loses a little bit.
Neutral( might be pro or con to some people)
>Battery life is good enough for me, as I can get 4-6 hours of screen on time depending on my usage.
>As mentioned above, Sense UI might not be everyone's cup of tea. It varies with different people.
Overall I would choose this phone again if I have to choose between the M8,Sony Z3( too pricey) and S5.

this is easily one of the better htc phones...m8 has poor camera and m9 overheats a lot...So its plastic but its dust resistant water resistant has decent front and back camera can take a 128gb memory card,big screen and brilliant sound quality...we are talking margins here i dont understand what people want from a phone?????

This phone is a waste of money. The only thing good is the camera which honestly the quality is just as good as any other phone. Htc just sucks in general. I do not like the pull down menu for the icons that should be displayed right there. Instead you have to pull down then open another file that has them. So stupid. The keyboard took longer than usual to get used to. The phone does lag. Battery life SUCKS!! you also cannot take the battery out!! Sealed like an iphone! This phone was honestly such a rip off. Cannot wait to purchase a real phone. Samsung all day!!!
