i washed it under the sink a few times and used it in the shower and it's still like a new phone.

But then again there are serious issues regarding overheating and selfcracking glass case, for me thats where desire eye beats the z2, plus desire eye has the best selfie camera! I must say, i have weighed in so much in choosing between the two but ended up choosing htc desire eye because of preference, avoiding its risky issues and because it fits my personality. And so far it hasnt failed me even just a bit! Fyi, i am a moderate to heavy user and the battery is definitely not a problem even at 2400mah!

I want to buy phone that seem to packed with everything..1st choice is sony xperia z2 compact..but then i stumble on this htc desire eye..so it become my 1st priority..apart from battery life..everything is awesome for me..coz im a phone gamer guy..so i drain my juice fast..but again who care..thats why they build powerbank..every phones needed that right..

Whatever your opinion may be...but Z2 is a true beast in it's category...with all it's heavy specs and a powerful ram it has a bright future which niether htc eye have nor Note 3....moreover Sony's 20.7 M.p xmor rs sensor camera is much much better than desire's eye...moreover z2 has 4k video recording facility with a powerful 3200 mah battery & don't forget it's both waterproof & dust resistant...Moreover z2 is one of the most highest rated smartphone in gsmarena...It's stylish, powerful, waterproof, longivity,..a class apart smartphone in this range...What else do you neef..It is a phone which everyone desires (Z2)..A perfect smartphone for everyone.

AnonD-387980, 19 Apr 2015If you get a choice to buy either Sony Xperia Z2 or HTC des... morethe two phones i was choosing from was actually the sony xperia z2 and htc desire eye, same with you. i opted for the desire eye because I felt like it fits my personality more than the z2. you really cant say which phone is better because each phone has its advantages and disadvantages. i ended up choosing the desire eye because it has a more sturdy case. what i heard about the z2 is that it has self cracking issues when its overheated and when it drops it can easily break its case. i didnt want to take that risk. however specswise z2 is slightly better. better battery life, bigger ram and great rear camera. the htc desire has the best selfie camera though. you just have to setup the right options in the camera settings before you can great pictures. and the specs are also great! so far, i am loving my htc desire eye. it took me time to love it though because i wasnt really sure if i made the right decision of getting it. there's really nothing wrong with my phone. i love it. so again, it depends on your personality and preference. if i had the option to choose from z2 and desire eye. i would still go get the htc desire eye.
