Every unit of HTC there is unique specifications so that the battery is depends on that.. the more power specs the more battery but if less the battery capacity is in normal.. I like desire eye I brought it last week ago and I really impressed to the camera front and back this desire is really and the right to claim as "the Ultimate selfie mobile phone..

E8 has longer lasting battery

For android i am using htc m8 and sony z3. Comparing their platform, i found htc to be better than sony. More useful and has more functions compared to sony.. Simple as do not disturb and call blocking features. The gallery is better with htc.. The camera software is better..And many more.. So from now on, i wont be using any other android phone but HTC. Incase i will upgrade, its always gotta be HTC..
And by the way i also use iphone as my other phone. For pairing with other iphone users..

It will definitely outperform any HTC phone you buy now. But if you had to get one now, either the M8 or the HTC desire Eye. I would definitely take the M8 over the eye just because the hardware is better and the software is faster,however, the EYE performs almost exactly as well with just a very better camera. I rarely take pictures so the camera on the M8 is more than enough for me, so that is why I would pic it over the desire.
