sup... moreWater resistant is not the same as water proof.
But I do agree, the Desire Eye is a great phone for the younger generation... We'll just have to wait for the pricing if it fits the phone. :)

I love HTC phones, always used them.
I have waited for the release of this new 13MP camera phone because I didn't want to move to LG or Samsung...
Unfortunately the people at HTC turned out to be stupid as hell !!!
Why the hell they took out the IR from this model??
The only thing that kept me from buying the M8 was the crappy camera, then I've heard about the new EYE models that suppose to be released.
Well, with great sadness I have to say that my time as an HTC user has come to an end.
I'm gonna order the LG G3 or the S5...or maybe I'll wait for the Nexus 6 to come out.
Too bad HTC didn't improve their M8 with this 13MP camera and water resistant. I would have buy it in a heart bit.

I think htc named it "eye" for two 13MPXL back and front cameras,they are equal like our eyes.
desire eye is very awesome and so amazing.

superb mobile,and im loving the camera's on it... waterproof of up 1 metre and 30 mins,absolutley out of this world... I shall be one of the first people in store to get this mobile..... Big ups to HTC,you guys never seem to disappoint me...

Finally, a phone where the front and back cameras are equal. Why should selfies be commended to suffer 2MP quality. With any hope, other OEMs will catch on to this in the next few years, as im not a huge fan of HTC. Quality:Price ratio is wrong.
