The following might help.
1. Get an original high speed HTC charger
2. Turn of your htc handset and plug it to the new charger
3. Leave it to charge for an hour or so. Don't turn it on till you see green bars

There, your handset will come to life if there are no other defects.

It is a pathetic phone. The phone doent charge. The red light keeps blinking and the phone doesnt come up. when I showed it to the service centre they are saying that the motherboard needs to be replaced. Cost for the same is 7000. Why would someone spent 7000 when u can buy a new phone in or arond same range. I used the phone for 16 months and now its not turning on. Extremely dissatisfied.

Real tough deal I had with HTC. Firstly, after 2 months of purchase the second sim stopped working. ran to htc serie center at hyd. The least yiou say about the center the better it is. hopeless is the word. They asked me to deposit the phone for a week. It needs to be sent to Their Bangalore office for repair(mother board needs to be replaced). No option. deposited the phone. came back to me after 10 days and my two round trips to the center. As luck would have it exactly in 13th month ie 1 month after end of warranty the battery failed. again the same story but this time had to pay. The performance is just avaerage and nothing much to say good for a phone worh 20000/-. i decided to avoid htc for the rest of my life! Good thing is that neither the company pushes its products nor the service center owns it!!!!

I've used this phone for over three years, I'm ready to put it out of service.
It performed beyond expectation.

Big disaster!
Bot this phone for 20k, however facing problem since i bot it. Storage issues, battery problem, auto switch off!!!

I bought HTC mobile month back. the set service not satisfactory .i approached for got repaired it on shop. they are saying that mother board is not working and advised me to change it.the expenses will be approximately 7000/-. i am completely not satisfied with this set.

The HTC phone is the worst smartphone I have used till date..Problems from the beginning...charging not good...always low battery...phone restarts on its own...even on full battery...formats on its own...switches off on its own..and now its dead...orange light blinking intermittently...service center advised replacing phone rather than repair...truly a disaster...HTC...a recipe for disaster..now I need new battery, so can you help me where is shopping battery ?

The HTC phone is the worst smartphone I have used till date..Problems from the beginning...charging not good...always low battery...phone restarts on its own...even on full battery...formats on its own...switches off on its own..and now its dead...orange light blinking intermittently...service center advised replacing phone rather than repair...truly a disaster...HTC...a recipe for disaster..

Phone is dead within two years. Even authorised centre guy advised not to waste money in repair but to buy a new phone. So much for HTC reputation. Earlier experience at authorised service centre at Hyderabad was very bad. After doing something without even informing me, they were not even apologetic about it. HTC must buy back such dead phones even if they are outside warranty if they are worried about their brand name. A waste of money.

Got it rectified under warranty but service centre experience at Hyderabad was very poor. Fully dead in less than two years. Twenty thousand rupees gone waste. HTC seems to be all hype.

THIS IS THE WORST PHONE ONE CAN BUY. my suggestion is to go for any china brands phone rather than buy HTC. these ppl are cheating us by selling cheep phone at an exorbitent price. we should sue them in courts. service is pathetic and repair charges are very high. my phone had restarting problem then it went totally dead. not swithching ON. service centre is asking for 8k to get the mother bd replaced. i hv dumped the phone. RIP htc.

I bought HTC Desire SV 2 years back. Now Its Dead, I Don't Know What to do with that shit..Thinking to buy new phone. What should i do now with that crap, Can't throw it in dustbin.

HTC Desire 500 I thought that I had invested in a brand but very sorry to say that my Micromax was even better, HTC is automatically switched off and get to know when touch the phone for getting update. Lost many more business appointments and calls even socially out of touch as people called me and it's out of reach or switched off.
Pls suggest what to do thinking sue on HTC .
