One of the worst phone..keeps on restarting all the time. Talk on mobile for 45mins,the next moment it gets restarted . Once it is restarted, u start using it again it gets restarted..and coming to service of HTC, the worst i have ever seen..i gave my for 5 times in the service center regarding auto restart prblm..still it is not resolved..nd dey take 7 days to check ur device..not satisfied

The phone lookd v good for da price.
But the moment I took it home...
HTC desire 501 restarts every 30 minutes.
When I dwnload apps it calls them corrupted files.
What is going on with HTC?

Prakhar, 26 Mar 2014i own this phone. Looks are amazing. Performance is good. I... morent fr gaming??wtf i use all hd games like.....desd trigger 2,nfs mostwanted,sims freeplay,asphalt 8 and the last nova 3.....nova 3 hangs....rest of the games are as smooth as butter on my phone....my free ram is always about 312 mb....i have disabled all the bloatware....trust me if u know how to use this phone...u can get the most out of it...mine never hanged...and my battery life stays fr like 1 and a half days....it awesome and i luv it

You might try installing these supported os 1- Windows 3.x
2- Ms DOS
3- Bada
4- Tizen
4- Chrome os

i own this phone. Looks are amazing. Performance is good. I don't need front camera because no one in India use video calls.
front camera is excellent and flash is very strong. THIS PHONE IS NOT FOR GAMING. if you want to play games do it on laptop or buy a tablet.
It weights about 100 grms !! Very comfortable and handy.
when I hold it in my hand everybody ask about it ! IF YOU HOLD A SAMSUNG OR MMX PHONE WORTH 20000 NO ONE WILL STARE IT SEEING IT'S LOGO. BUT WHEN YOU HOLD AN HTC DEVICE EVERYONE STARES IT.
I have not faced any restart problem. Battery backup is better then other phones. Last easily a day and half on continuous whatsapp and messaging. The polish on phone never fade away and you get a good amount of money when you sell it. It's not denying that it hangs sometimes but its when you open a heavy app. Considering its the same with every android. I don't mind it. I dont expect much with 512mb ram.

my sister use galaxy core
hangs after installing >5 apps. Hangs on setting live wallpaper.
my uncle use galaxy s duos.
Hangs like core. Poor camera with low saturation. Long battery charging time.
everyone above want to exchange their phone with mine..:)
