Do not buy this phone!!! I use it in Russia. One, after 6 months, it started rebooting 5 to 10 times per day by itself. It's not a software, but a hardware issue.
So you cannot fix it with factory reset or soft upgrade. Lots of complaints about this on the Internet. HTC knows, and still sold this phone. For that reason, I'll never buy HTC again. Two, calls from one of the sim-card slots makes crackling noises about 80% of the time so you cannot understand the caller. It occurs in some cities worse than others. Many store clerks I talked to knew of the problem from customer complaints. And still the phone was on their shelves. A clerk explained that there was a technical compatibility answer to certain types of networks for one sim slot, but not the other. Whatever. The phone is garbage. Avoid avoid avoid!!!

This phone is nice the only problem faced by me was that,when internet on 1 sim is active it disabled the other one ,otherwise the phone is not bad .....

i have got a very big problem with my htc desire v... that it is getting stuck and the touch is gone out for only 6 months this sucks plzz if somebody can help me out plzz!!!

I was more than sure when I went to get a phone, that it had to be HTC. But, my bad, it's one of my worst decision ever when it comes to phones. the touchscreen is as pathetic as it could be,slow processing, gets hanged & last but not the least, poor battery backup.
All in all, it was my first & last experience with HTC.

I have HTC desire v and it is the most worst phone which I have seen in my life. Service and customer service is more than worst. I will advice even some one wants to give you free of cost then also you should not carry the garbage. HTC should call back this product from the market. To buy a HTC desire v it is my most foolish decision in my life.

I am facing problem with touch screen and not able to use net while another sim is working.

worst phone..pls dont buy it....worst camera...changed my headset 3 times...power button complaint...chrging cable complaint.....in 6 month !!!!! sad to say its totally a bad phone....hmmm

The phone is not recognized by the computer when connected to cable. It displays only charging and not able to mount usb. This is such a crap and not worth buying!!!!

my experience with the phone is not good.both sims are not working properly simultaneously.I have replaced it from a single sim phone.

Its a bad phone, very slow, gets hanged, dont buy this phone, its waste of money.Just in 2 months i faced this problen in this phone. so Plz Plz Plz don't prefer this phone

Though theoretically the specifications are ok, the Desire V is the worst ever phone. It can't be used even as a basic phone for calling and SMS. I do not have any downloaded applications on it but the phone hangs 8-9 times a day, switches off on its own, becomes silent or loud on its own. Absolute waste. DO NOT BUY DESIRE V.

I am also facing frequent restart issue. We cant take any action against HTC for launching such a bad phone, but can feel bit light by writing here.

my htc phone starts and turns off at its own wish.every now n than it just gets hang.i need to instal whatsapp everyday as it also gets hang.i visited htc service station but even after waiting there for an hour they have done nyothing for my phone.all the staff were busy chit chatting among themselves only.buying an htc phone was the biggest mistake i could do.this was just not expected from a reputed company like htc.
