hey guys i bought this phone last week,,n m loving it
1)The battery is as good as i expected,long last for one day,full connectivity with gprs/edge,playing games,surfing net,using wats app,facebook etc (using only 1 sim)
2)Wats app is working absolutely fine so dont wrry about it
3)Screen is very smooth,i dont find any lag using any application yet.
4) Camera is just fine not outstanding but looks are pretty good in white color
5) i mean @15k u cant ask for more

hi guys,need a genuine reply from sm1 actually using dis phone.
1)i heard from some people that watsapp doesn't work in it..is it true?
2)it doesn't have shortcuts for wi-fi,bluetooth in notification bar unlike galaxy s duous..is it true?
3)can't receive calls on 2nd sim while using data on sim 1 ...is this true?

I was looking for my first smartphone with the following factors:
1. Display should be 3.5inch and above with a minimum 200ppi.
2. Latest android os ics 4.0.
3. Any model from one of the brands- samsung, sony, htc.
4. Processor and gpu are not a matter of concern for me.
I've shortlisted desire v and galaxy s duos. Since desire v is cheaper, I'm gonna go for it. I think the important features for a smartphone are durability and battery life. Hope Htc gives these at its best.

No sec camera. Fixed focus and average camera quality, no compass. But i guess the important feature for any mobile is build quality and battery life. Hope Htc has these at its best.

Nilesh, 22 Oct 2012What the diff. between sam s duos and htc desire v? any1 helpboth phones are good and equivalent to their config but htc desire has a super amoled and samsung galaxy s duos has a tft capacitive ... in my opinion samsung duos is much better in terms of Design , gives u a s 3 feel and nice ui with jelly bean upgradability and has 768 ram than desire v(512) , so my suggestion IS S DUOS ! :)
