MMM, 22 Jul 2012Just bought HTC Desire V, because of dual SIM factor...BUT ... moreI think you have both your phone memory and sim memory active. If both memory are active, entrys for both will appear on your contacts.

I buy this phone a week ago.Its an awesome phone .The only thing which was woory to me before buying any android phone is the battery backup.
HTC DESIRE V has tremendous battery life last more than 12,13 hours while using internet and downloading things.
Only 1 concern the back cover does not fit properly in the middle section.Does any one has this problem.
Rest the phone is the best.

Just bought HTC Desire V, because of dual SIM factor...BUT i find the people contacts in a mess..!!! can't even understand the merging thing...
same person with same name..comes out several times, and i have to try each name to get the phone number i need... how do u use this? the manual doesn't help at all. My iPhone merges my contacts automatically, and everything is organized. HTC Desire V is giving me a very hard time!!!

Get from your operator "miss call notification via SMS" so you will get SMS always after 1SIM call is ended.. i will buy the same phone for sure now!!

Mike, 21 Jul 2012this might be due to OS, i had the same issue with Sony Xpe... moreMay not b for os.As it is upto date.i had returned the phone to service centre.They had promised to exchange it within two day.Lets see what they are doing.

In its specifications (sensors) the compass is mentioned, but it is not working.

abhay, 19 Jul 2012Has anybody faced this problem.after 4days of fantastic exp... morethis might be due to OS, i had the same issue with Sony Xperia.. i updated the OS from GingerBird to IceCream sandwitch which resolved the issues. Hope this helps..

I just get this desire V & second day already problem with auto OFF & show "SYSTEM CRASH" then sending back to the dealer & after 2 days check they exchange 1 unit new phone & as usual insert 2 SIM & activated then second day & 3rd day again Auto OFF & same show "SYSTEM CRASH". I inserted SIM 1 for broadband "U Mobile" & SIM 2 for "Maxis" and another problem is SIM 2 cannot send & received MMS, can anybody help ?

just have my htc desire today. the best dual-sim mobile i ever had. definitely looks classy unlike other cheap looking dual-sim mobile.performance is great, don't listen to other users who complains all the time.no issues at all.

I've had this phone for 2 weeks and still love it! It's my first Android, so don't have much to compare it to but mostly bought it for its dual sim capability. Does the job!

When you receive call on sim1 then sim2 is out of reach,
You need to divert your sim1's call to sim2 when not unavailable and sim2's call on sim1 when unavailable.

I have this phone cuple of days. Verry good phone with 2 sim. not dual stendy but no big problem. now I found: phone have not compass... verry bad other what I can say it's perfect phone.
