They are the same CPU with the same speed/performance the difference is that one is GSM and the other one manages CDMA/GSM platforms hence the names are a little bit different: MSM8255 / MSM8655.

which is the better phone the Incredible S or the Droid Incredible 2, with respect to CPU : Qualcom MSM8255 & MSM8265? Likewise which is faster and better on the 3G Specification : Rev. A, up to 3.1 Mbps; HSPA (Droid Incredible 2) and HSDPA, 14.4 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps (Incredible S)?.. As per number the Incredible S seemed ahead of the game, but why was in the announced and released date the Droid Incredible 2 is the latest model April 2011 against February 2011 by the Incredible S.. Please Give clarifications. Cheers!

Hi guys.
Just got this phone as an upgrade from LG Optimus One P500, and the experience is like from hell to heaven (and I'm not exaggerating).
So far I've been totally satisfied with this purchase. The CPU is strong enough to keel all taks done smoothly and quickly. I don't need a dual-core CPU for a cell-fone, really.
Highly recommended!

CPU is not Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon. CPU is Qualcomm MSM8655 Snapdragon. Obviously, MSM8655 is better than MSM8255.

T-Bone, 01 Oct 2011Does this phone support GPRS/ EDGE on the gsm network? plz... moreThe Droid Incredible 2 CAN be unlocked, if you are a Verizon customer, if you are not, then I don't know how to unlock it, my friend is a Verizon customer and we called Verizon under his name and said we need a unlock code for the Droid Incredible 2, I am using AT&T on my Incredible 2. But only supports EDGE (2G)

Even the latest symbian belle still can't match up android, and you said that symbian 3rd edition in n86 is as stable as android 2.3? You're kidding right?
And, does n86 can record 720p video? I don't think so..
It's never be the same between android and super lame nokia.. Lol..
