You can do it yourself but will require hours of learning on google and You Tube.

guys ics in evo 3d ruins 3d vdo playback.any one who watches 3d movies on the fon shudnt upgrade to ics.3d vdo playback lags big tym in ics.i really regret updating.iloved to watch 3d movies before.now its ruined :'(

battery life is better than my old samsung galaxy.. the build quality is great... just dont like slow stock gallery and the speaker, you need great player to bost volume like playerpro...

Omer, 10 Jul 2012I updated my phone to ICS... its working great... battery l... moreYes, there is an excelent software for viewing 3D movies.Is named 3DVPlayer v3.0.1 If you want to convert mkv SBS 3D movies for your EVO3D you can use "WinAVI All in One Converter".The main settings are: rez-960x540, video decoder H.264/AVC, Audio encoder AAC(don`t use other encoder!!!)Subtitle Stream 0-Disable(always!!!), Enable subtitles-No(always !!!).
You must have a subtitle file "nameofthemovie".srt with characters code UTF-8(always !!!)

the only problem with htc evo 3d is its battery life... it sucks and get empty in 5 . 6 hours

I updated my phone to ICS... its working great... battery life has improved significantly... atleast i dun have to carry the charging cable with me all the time now...
But my 3D movies are not working properly now. Can anyone name an app i can use to watch my 3D movies in mp4 format?? Any help will be highly appreciated,

How can i upgrade mine. ... moreturn on your wi-fi then go to settings > about phone > software updates then tap on "check now" if an update is available just follow the instructions it will show..:) ICS is Ice Cream Sandwich..it's the name of the latest operating system for android phones..out of the box, the Evo 3D comes with it's Gingerbread OS..next update to ICS is the Jelly Bean, i'm not sure if Evo 3D will get a Jelly Bean update though..

I have updated my Evo 3d to ics 4 and my phone is workig great!! No bugs at all!! It's like I have bought a new phone. Great job HTC!!!
