i have a strange question in my mind. htc evo 3d and samsung galaxy s2 both has equal processors 1.2ghz dual core both handsets have 1gb of ram. ther is only camera and internal memory difference between them then why galaxy s2 is more famous then htc evo 3d and why it is considered to be more faster than evo 3d answer my if anyone can????

this will affect the speed,you cant change it, its 1GB in this phone,if you kill apps ,it will free up the usage of the ram
-Storage is another thing,where you store your music,pictures,videos,apps,and games and this will also affect the speed of the phone in loads of stuff(experince from my phone) , the phone comes with the standard 8gb class 4 microsd which honestly sucks!
i bought a new SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDHC 32GB, Class 6 (its ultra which means 200x which means it supports up to 30mb/s in read and write) ,it have the similar speed of a class 10 non ultra.
i recorded videos and achieved the max data rate of the camera app which is 20mb/s and 30fps
camera takes over 75% faster and more pictures
apps load faster!
videos and pictures loads much faster!
and most important of all,your phone will stay fast because you will store everything (apps,pics...etc) in the microsd instead of the internal memory(NOT RAM..)
step 1 When you buy a new microsd card, simply copy all the stuff in the old microsd card to the new one, and restart your phone,it will work perfect
step 2 Go to settings/SD and Storage/,press under the tab internal storage, press free up space,press next and then choose "move to sd card",mark everything and press next, they will be moved to the SD CARD ,Done!

or download pirated payed...apps from applanet.com ....

I bought this phone and I am supposed to get a message from a european bank.
With Galaxy it works just fine while this thing
remains silent.
Support very bad so what can I do.

@h.t...thanks buddy for your answer...now i have get it...but what's about the memory...in file mamager it shows 2.8gb in others file..what's others file??can i get the memory any how????or i have to buy a 32 or 16 gb card...

anyone here ever tried buying anything from the market?i'm just curious on how it works..for example i buy a livewallpaper(the 3D koi), IF it gets erased, or if i update my OS, will it still be there?i mean, can i download it again for free?does anyone here experience buying apps/games or anything from the market and can explain how it works?thank you in advance..:)

hi...i have recently bought the phone...so far it is fantastic experiance...i have the supplied 8gb memory card...but in settings it shows me i have only 2.7 gb free...but i have downloaded 10-12 apps and some 200 audio songs and likely 50 photos...my question is how i can regain my memory back?? or it's a usual thing!!! another question is as a first time android user(previously a hardcore user of nokia) i have faced some problem...it hasn't any file manager....how can i get one???
please someone help.........

Blessed Navin. Got D message on D 3D movies & videos but I haven't tried it out as yet because I'm waiting on a 32GB SD-card from USA 4 my Evo 3D as my current memory of 8GB has been nearly used up so as soon as I aquire D bigger memory-card, I'll give it a try & will definitely give U a feedback.....

i have bought a Evo 3d. but the battery is draining out so fast.and 1st of all its not getting 100% charge.its showing 99% at the top.
wat can I do for a longer battery life.i use moderate.
and wat about the 99% stuff?
May I get suggestion?

the ice cream sandwich 4.0 will be released with HTC SENSE 3,6 not 4.0 , still good because developers will simply add htc sense 4.0 to evo and other phones..i mean its available right now for rooted mobiles ics 4.0 and sense 4.0 , ive tried it,its goooood
just a note, ,i set the data rate in the camera app(htc amaze app) to 4mb/s and recorded video it works,ive tried up to 10mb/s and it works using the original 8gb microsd class 4 that came with the phone.

so frame rate; 30fps and data rate 20mb/s in htc amaze app which i amazing , so smooth and bugfree, lagg-free video
so conclusion, buy another microsd with class 10 or class 6 but ultra,video will better,camera take faster pics,apps faster,faster loading time...everything smoother

Go for HTC. You get the same power with the bonus of an awesome 3d feature. Moreover HTC SENSE UI is the best in the market. You will love it. Don't worry about the battery life. You can flash some custom roms instead and get a day with medium to heavy usage easily. The phone really feels solid in hand, with the soft to touch covering at the back. The design of this phone is much better than Atrix etc. The 3D design of the 3D camera looks awesome. It also has a dedicated aluminium camera key(just like the one in camera, a spherical key, half way press to focus and full to take pictures)!! Go for it, you won't regret. It is going to be upgraded to ICS 4.0 soon.
