HTC EVO 3D vs. HTC Sensation 4G: Head to head
Head to head
Video recording
As far as shooting videos is concerned, things are not much different. The EVO 3D is limited to 720p resolution, while the Sensation 4G can film in full HD. Like we already said above, you must really want the 3D option in order to choose the EVO 3D over the Sensation 4G, at least as far as camera units are concerned.

As you'll see, even in 3D mode, the EVO 3D camera shows its shortcomings. The jerky movements in the first video sample below are not cause by camera shake but stem from a problem of the video capturing itself.
Conclusion
Both the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC Sensation 4G are quite impressive modern smartphones. Picking up a clear winner is difficult and entirely a matter of personal preferences. The choice becomes even more difficult when you know that both devices are priced at $199.99 with a two-year commitment from T-Mobile and Sprint Wireless respectively. Interestingly enough, both operators offer all-you-can-eat plans for $79.99 a month to go with the phones if you feel like it.
If 3D is your thing, then the EVO 3D should be your choice despite its shortcomings. The same goes if you are a benchmark buff with a knack for performance. 3D is definitely a key differentiator that cannot be waved lightly aside.
The HTC Sensation 4G on the other hand, wins the look and weight contest. Its 2D camera is superior to the one of the EVO 3D. It can also entice you with the seriously better battery performance.
Regardless of which device you will end up choosing, it will clearly be a win for HTC. The company has managed to bring to the U.S. market two well put together devices which, despite having so many things in common, have managed to develop completely different characters.

How can both of the score less in benchmark than an Optimus 2x with less GHz and less ram + an older android. Bad work. I mean come on seriously 1GHz nvidia with 512ram and android 2.2 is slightly faster? Very weird. By that logic the Optimus 2X woul...
