riha, 05 Feb 2013is network is support to srilanka? is can use in srilanka? ... moreCDMA technology was introduced in 2005 and currently there are five CDMA2000 operators. Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) moved to CDMA2000 service supplier and has ZTE EVDO Rev. 0 network and all island covered 1x data service. Suntel www.suntel.lk and Lanka Bell www.lankabell.com are using 800 MHz range. Both operators have islandwide 1x data service and these days trying to enter EVDO rev0 data market. DBN and Tritel are expecting to enter the Sri Lanka CDMA2000 market in June 2007 on 450 MHz. Among the five operators, Lanka Bell has the largest CDMA2000 market share.

to those who want to know whether they can use the phone in Ghana or not, the answer is yes. Once unlocked, the phone can take the MTN sim or any other gsm sim in Ghana. Let your dealer unlock it for you, or you send it to the MTN office near you or any other network's office and get it unlocked to the network.

I've had this phone for about 2 years. It is okay but extremely slow on the Sprint network. I've noticed while browsing the internet for a couple minutes and closing it, the phone takes a while to close and refresh the screen.

I've had an EVO 4G for a little more than 2 years, during which it has been very disappointing in multiple aspects. The screen has extremely uneven brightness, with an area about the size of a pencil eraser in the center of the screen that is conspicuously brighter than the rest of the screen. Reception has always been worse than any of my previous phones (same carrier). Despite promise of 4G speed (still waiting!), it is agonizingly slow. It is also slow, as compared with other comparable phones, when changing from one app to another. One week after the warranty expired, it began crashing/rebooting. It is especially likely to do so if used to access the web for more than 2 or 3 minutes, and is nearly certain to happen if used while charging. (I thought it might be from overheating, but it does the same thing outdoors in freezing weather or while sitting on top of a squirrel-cage blower). In the last 6 months, it sometimes fails (intermittently) to connect via USB, and the external speaker stops working more often that not.

I strongly regret buying it, and will never buy another HTC product.

I love my EVO 4G, and plan to keep it for awhile, but the last few months my battery has been dying way to frequently, even without using it. Sprint is charging $50 for a new battery, which is a bit much in my opinion. Order one form Amazon, using it for about 48 hours it still has about 40% battery life (with light usage). My old battery didn't last 12 hours, even with light usage. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ADUEWE2

                                    - I have set up my alarm clock for a specific time to wake up but it is not going off, and only vibrates but nothing else, so when it is time to sound to wake up the phone is sitting doing nothing.

                                    - The SD Card says that it is full, and can not take any pictures or videos that the phone has, so I don't know how to clear the SD Card inside the phone.

                                    - I can not synchronize it because does not allow me to do so, and gives me different options but I want to sinchronize it through Google but not with Microsoft Outlook 2007 which used to work better before but in my case is a total chaos, so finally it is impossible to sinchronize anything.

                                    - Mostly it is impossible to sinchroinze the contacts either to Outlook 2007 or to Google.

you can contact me @ 305-200-7677 or e-mail me at "eht110656@hotmail.com" either way how to make it work my phone properly.
