Hi im H from 90's pop band Steps, you might remember us. Im about to go on a comeback tour and need a good phone with a HD screen for looking at photos of myself on, would you reccomend this? xx

all of cpw handsets are unlocked regardless of what simcard u purchase the phone with.
the only phones that are locked are the iphones.
in other words the incredible s is unlocked :D

I want it sim free though, not locked to a network, when will that price come down from £499.95?? It makes no sense as CPW sell the Nexus S for the same price pay as you go and sim free and the Desire HD is actually £50 cheaper sim free than on pay as you go! Nice to see a consistent pricing structure!!

You need to understand that HTC aren't using dual-core processors, because qualcomm (who make the snapdragon processors) haven't released a dual-core chipset. The current dual-core processors are a huge strain on the battery, and they don't even mark that much of an improvement. Yes, they perform well in benchmark tests, but in everyday use, you will find it very hard to make a 1ghz single core processor struggle to load anything that is around these days. I have a Desire HD and absolutely love it, the battery life isn't even that much of a problem for me, and if it does run out sooner than expected, just buy a replacement battery and bring that with you - it's not rocket science!

Carphone Warehouse will NOT sell me the phone, they require a UK credit card.
Secondly i want to know why GSMARENA removed 1700 from the bandwidth when other cellphone sites still say it works under 1700.

2 disadvantage of htc are low battery amp n low internal storage. If they could manage internal storage at least 8gb and increase battery it would better n compare to other android phone

the htc incredible has a better battery life and the screen i so much smoother than HD....cpw staff need to retrained by the look of it......

the video is sound is still the same.
only difference between the incredible s and the hd is most prob the box it comes in, which i must say is quite cool. its black with a green htc logo, very funky.
but defo go into store and check 1 out u might just like it.
personally i would go for the hd7
