This open a secret testing menu in Android where you can check if your battery condition is okay or whether some cells inside are damaged. In case of damaged cells, HTC service center is your solution. In case all is well, then upgrade your phone to the latest firmware and do a factory reset. That should help you out.

Tazzel, 11 Nov 2012the right side of the touchscreen isnt responding on my htc... moreI had similar issues with 2.3.5 but after upgrading to 4.0 I no longer face such issues...even in 2.3.5 i was rarely facing such issue...if you are already on 4.0 then contact service center before the warranty expires...

If you are only looking to get 2.3.5, then I guess official update for 2.3.5 is no longer available since a higher version has replaced it...

As per the update the company will consider releasing Jelly Bean for some of its 2011 phones which has RAM higher than 512MB.

malatesh, 20 Nov 2012I bought HTC as gift . but its battery drain off within 2 t... moreI would suggest you to take your phone to HTC service centre..something is definitely wrong with the battery...even if 3G and WiFi is turned on, the battery would never drain off it 3 hrs...if your phone is still under warranty, service people would change the battery or whatever is causing this...

I bought HTC as gift . but its battery drain off within 2 to 3 hours.even after no calls it is draining off why? safer i switched off all 3G /blutooh and wifi still same problem. Pls clarify

Dipta, 16 Nov 2012Incredible s has decent specs + 4" + 768mb ram(I don't... moreI stepped into few showrooms last noon to get a hands on on new mobiles...I found few mobiles interesting but not tempting...Sony Xperia J, Intel Xolo...J looks appealing with a 4 Inch+1GHZ Processor+ 1750mah battery but the Ram is only 512MB and it also has upgrade to Jellybean, however I'm not sure how would Jellybean act on a 512MB Ram...
Intel Xolo...Looks elegant and its packed with awesome specs...1.4 GHZ Processor+1GB RAM+ 8MP Snapper + 16 GB inbuilt memory and I recommended Xolo to a friend of mine, he has been using it for the past 5 months without any issues...it runs on 4.0 but I'm not sure if it has jellybean upgrade...

Kannan, 16 Nov 2012Incredible S is a old model now and Sola is a dump mobile, ... moreIncredible s has decent specs + 4" + 768mb ram(I don't mind old or new) which is enough for me but xperia sola has dual core and better software looks. I am mainly looking for a good music phone within tk. 20000. Arc s is a deal breaker because it has crappy software and an audio jack which is not compatible with most headphones. Nexus s is too outdated with no fm radio and led. So, yeah.... I am a bit confused actually.

Dipta, 15 Nov 2012I am trying to decide between xperia sola and incredible s.... moreIncredible S is a old model now and Sola is a dump mobile, you cannot compare these two mobiles coz incredible S is packed with good spec for a phone was released in 2011 and HTC has recently said that mobiles that has 512 MB RAM will not get Jellybean update so that means Incredible S might get Jellybean. Sola was recently released but does not have a Jellybean update and it can be upgraded only to Ice cream sandwich.
If you could let me know how much you like to spend to get a mobile I would help you to get a good one. I dont recommend fancy mobiles that has good looks...I recommend mobiles with good spec and elegant look...

The alarm clock doesn't ring if the phone had been switched off. But as I've found in other handsets the alarm clock doesn't depend on the active status of the handset, it rings even the phone is switched off. And after ringing it goes to off mode again. Any way to change this habit of the clock?

the right side of the touchscreen isnt responding on my htc incredible s . the alphabets i,k,m arent working on the keypad in portrait mode. is this a hardware or software issue ? can anyone please guide me and tell me what can i do to resolve this problem.

After downloaded the ICS now my phone performance was... moreI faced the same problem. Please follow these steps:
1. Backup your Phonebook & Message to SD card (ICS gives you this option).
2. Do a factory data reset of your phone memory.
3. Copy Phonebook & Message into phone memory from SD card. Backup your multimedia in your pc.
4. Format your SD card. Don't bother about applications of your phone as you can download it from playstore any time.
Now your Incredible S is smooth as silk!
