Finally updated with ICS..Initially it was very slow to load things from the sd card..but after continuous usage I'm able to access things fast..First notable change is d polished display, smaller icons and fonts, bigger notifications, on-off button changed with sliding option..Menu style changed to list view and many more..Some ppl said there are battery issues after update I dint find any probs yet..Overall a gr8 update, guess worth a wait!!

just gt ics upgrade in india[delhi]....makes yr ph a lil slow....bt do a factory reset post da upgrade ....wrks like a charm....

But for sure you don't have the HTC phone, u are some one who is after spoiling htc . Am in Uganda, a third world country but already got the ics update. Shame upon yo tricks.

To avoid lag after you update to ics, backup all your data and do a factory reset, did wonders for my handset and you can install apex launcher if you want it faster, by far the more responsive launcher for 4.0.

Looks great..but not worth updating..read the points below:
1. UI is new..Looks good
2. New gallery is better.can play full screen videos
3. Updated Gmail and YouTube
4. Dropbox
5. Developer options
6.very limited skins and scenes
7. Improved music player
8.file manager not included
9. New camera interface
10. Face unlock included
11. Very smooth
12. Polaris office included.
13. No improvement in dialer stock browser stock msg
14. Option to share any file included
15. Google voice typing with Indian English supported. Impressive. Accuracy of 90%
Overall good but not worth the hype.

htc incredible s mobile is very much advanced in technology. features and spec are v good.quality good
relaibility is good.
bad things are :1. new versions of android
is not upgraded in right time. you see how samsung is growing very fast in technology updation.
2. direct video call feature is not yet possible.why?
3. whether ics is possible to upgrade in india????????????
iam in trivandrum. friend, give answer for the above?

Just finished the update to Android 4.0.4 and sense 3.6 on Incredible S at New Delhi, India. :D
My reviews -
1. Just booted up the phone after the update and I must say it was very very slow during the first update. Nothing out of the ordinary though, as much I had expected.
2. People have reported slowness after the update. My advice - After the first boot let the phone rest - let all update activities be completed (would
take around 15-20 minutes depending on the number of apps installed).
3. Restart the phone right away. And enjoy buttery smooth ICS on Inc S.
My views -
The phone is snappy fast, smoother, and more responsive. The volume is louder, have to test out music performance .. rest am still testing out .. but am happy. :) Thanks HTC!

Updating to ICS 4.0 in New Delhi.

Have updated phone to ics 4.0.4, there is no lag. But I do noticed that due sense 3.6 overlay the update doesn't make much difference to visuals. I like stock ics launcher. But phone doesn't feel slow or any lag can be noticed as others mentioned. Overall I am very happy with update but sense overlay make the full UI looks laggy. But fix is there, u can disable the animations.

Just an FYI about the ICS Update.
If your phone is behaving out of normal or slow, just do a factory reset after the Update and take out your battery for around 30 sec reinsert and restart the phone.
It helped me.. After update The icons on bottom bar were missing on my INC S. And it was way too much slow.. its fine now after the reset.
Also The Stock browser sucks.. so I suggest download Google Chrome and sync it with your desktop/laptop.
Youtube experience is enhanced.
The update does not take up much of internal memory so it is OKAY to update.

Just upgraded my incredible S to ICS & its extremely slow & whenever i go any where & wants to get back to the main screen it shows lading for about 15 seconds before it works again. Can i go back to the last version ????
