Any Idea when the ICS is coming to India?
Also If we have an unlocked International Phone, how do we know when we will get the update? My CID says HTC__038 which I think is India region, but I am in USA.
Any Ideas?

ICS update is available for Incredible S in india from 18th july 2012... my Incredible now taste ICS...I love it...

They would lose the Indian customer confidence. If the update has already hit the south Asian region - since Pakistan and Malaysia etc. Have got it, I doubt we would have to wait long for it in India. But a part of me is still skeptical.... Let's see what happens...

My friend in Pakistan has updated to ICS. I used for couple of hours and it is a very nice.

Just updated to ICS 4.0.4 with sense 3.6 in Malaysia. With the spec IS have, ICS is considering smooth and fast. However there are some comments of this version of update:
Cons
- unable to find the power saving mode
- sound of screen lock is almost cannot be heard
- font become smaller
- battery takes longer time to charge fully and after 93% charged it wil straight jump to 100%
- newly added clock widget is not as pretty as One X(using fancy widget instead of original sense clock)
- still don't have file manager(disappointing and continue using File expert)
Pros
- improved gallery and folder, task manager, phone, keyboard, people
- added screenshot, face unlock
- added apps like Tasks, Polaris office.
- a faster start-up camera with improved interface
you do not need to back up your data either phone or sd card for ICS update as it won't erase any data in your phone. It don't comes with Beats Audio. Final words, perhaps Sense 3.6 is a bit too heavy for Single core 700 ram IS to run smoothly but it still worth to update as there are a lot things improved despite the litter lagging it brings.

I think in some days HTC will say they cannot release ICS for India as it doesn't give best user experience in this region :)

please post on this thread as soon as ICS update is available for india. i am using a custom ROM and cannot check it on my phone. This is a request to Incredible s users in India.
