after 1 month we get update sach as update from 2.3.3 to 2.3.5

@jibran yes it will definitley updte to jelly bean also cox its upgradble to 4.x? it mean all the version of 4 series will b availbe fr this model at other hand HTC will decide this wheterr to give an updte to JB or nt? i wishh aftr ICs it wud updted on JB too...em waitng for ICs n m frm PAKSItan

Hello. I'm in Pakistan and I got ics update yesterday. It's really really awsom its rocking. The overall phone performance has boosted up alot. Cell,apps, browser, everything now more speedy then android 2.3.There is face unlocker too wao. The ics update rocks its running as awsom, fast as incridible s made for ics..... Love u HTC.

GN'R, 05 Jul 2012Update to ICS is ok, but is this phone upgradable to Jelly ... moreHey GNR, I hope this gets upgraded to Jelly Bean. There are hardly any differences in ICS and JB. Even cyanogen mod guys are committing that all phones which support ICS can be upgraded to JB.
But the bigger question is, will HTC do it officially or we will have to go with custom ROMs.

Got the following feedback of the ICS update on XDA Devs, thought to share the same here. The following is not my feedback, I am in India and still waiting for the update:
Received the OTA here in Denmark on Monday.
Sense 3.6 feels sluggish.
With Apex Launcher + Fancy Widgets + APW it is fast and has the ICS + Sense 4 look.
New stuff:
Gmail unread count in the dock works again.
Face unlock.
Many apps have new look in ICS.
New task manager is awesome.
New, better notifications bar.
New, better dialer/contacts app.
Low battery management settings are gone, ICS must have this build in.
Apps can be disabled.
Accounts and Sync settings have been simplified.
Stuff that is not working:
No contact photos in Hancent, so I have gone back to the Sense SMS app for now. It is actually quite nice and clean looking now, Handcent feels bloated compared to.
I tried Chrome, very nice browser but too slow. After I linked it to my google account my bookmarks are messed up with no way of reversing it.
The new Firefox is much faster and my new default browser.
I do hope the original poster has no issues with me, though I have not taken his permission :P

I do hope "soon" has an "official date" from HTC. Their GB update was 3 months late compared to the European countries and USA.
Still looking up the HTC India's facebook page to see if they have made any announcements for India.
In the meantime, request all friends whose devices have been upgraded to ICS to share their reviews.
