Why would you want to give up the best Android UI - HTC Sense by installing something else? Just flash a custom Sense ROM and with a few tweaks, you won't have any battery problems.

Love this phone. But you HAVE to jailbreak it. I rooted it and put CyanogenMod7 on it and the LED settings totally fix the battery problem. The rest of my family has the same phone and they run the standard Android OS on it and their batteries last like half a day. A good way to save battery life is to set your sleep time on the phone to about a min or 2 to save battery from the display. Also, disable haptic feedback (where the phone vibrates every time you press a button or key). That kills the battery pretty quickly as well.

I own this phone and it is great. The only downfall it has is the battery. But don't let it keep you from buying the phone! It's a great phone! I love mine! I would just buy an extra battery or two if you are going to use it heavily.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S (I9000) but I'm considering to buy this phone as an upgrade. Do you think this is a good choice or should I be better buying Samsung Galaxy S2. HTC inspire 4G is my first option because of the price.

I got this phone from USA, AT&T factory unlocked and brought it to India. The phone supports 3G bands [HSPA] 850 and 1900 Mhz. In India 3G cariers run on 2100Mhz. So this phone will not work on 3G on any of the cariers. I am also looking for any tweak that can help me fix this.
                    Please help.
Browsing on 2G after having such a good phone sucks..

I've had the HTC Inspire for 2 months....before it was a Samsung Galaxy S. HTC is an improvement in that it's 4G. Love the HUGE screen and the processor seems faster. Phone seems to anticipate my wants, and that's what I call "A SMART PHONE". Eventually might get an iphone.....who knows...??

I've always liked of the look of Desire HD but it is becoming outdated. But when I saw the Inspired 4g I loved it because it has the same look as DHD but with some improvements.
What is the version of HTC Sense it has? It´s Sense 3?
And the GPS? It´s a good experience?

I’ve had this phone since it was first introduced to the market. Of all the phones I've had thus far, this one to me is the BEST. Moving from one app to another is as easy as sliding your finger across the screen. And since more apps are becoming available, you can literally be on the phone all day. Battery power is great once you turn off a few running apps that really don't need to be running in the background. The sensitivity of Sense is true. I think it may too sensitive especially when texting, but it could just be me. The size is perfect, feels good in my hands and since I have Bluetooth, the Car Mode feature is awesome leaving everything totally hands free while driving or just sitting at my desk. The Wi-Fi feature is great, upload and download speed is fast. Over all I really enjoy this phone and I think this phone is much better in quality, design and functionality than the Apple iPhone or for that matter the Blackberry which several of my friends have and like. So if you were to ask me should I buy this phone? I would say without hesitation...YES! You will not be disappointed.
