JUST ONCE, 25 Sep 2015I've always been a fan of HTC phones but my current phone k... moreI was in a similar predicament :/ I completely love this phone in every way, except that the battery started to drain itself and then it would just shut itself off if I used any battery-intensive app like the camera or games, or even just keeping the screen on. When turned back on, it would show a sudden 20% drop in battery level. Really a shame since my battery would last, like, 2 solid days of moderate use, and even 5 days of light use on a single charge. Haven't heard of any other phone that can beat this.
Anyway, here's what I tried. I bought a new battery, and that actually resolved all my issues...for a while. One day it just died. However, the battery I had bought was an aftermarket 1950 mAh battery (doubt there was much quality control), so it wasn't the 1810 mAh one that comes from the OEM, so maybe if you try to buy a bona fide HTC Z321E battery, you'll have more luck.

shafz, 25 Aug 2015my Phones glass was craked and im searching for glass but i... moreI also cracked my screen before. I chose to replace it myself by buying the screen and digitizer assembly. You can choose to just replace just the LCD screen, but I wouldn't recommend it. I actually tried that first, and broke the digitizer while chipping away at the broken screen...the digitizer is incredibly fragile. The screen+digitizer assembly is available on amazon, ebay, etc... if you search "HTC Z321E digitizer". Here's an example http://www.amazon.com/display-Touch-Screen-Digitizer-Assembly/dp/B00KBN0CY0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1449636506&sr=8-4&keywords=htc+z321e+digitizer
Look up instructions for how to replace the screen and digitizer on Youtube. You won't find any instruction for this phone specifically, but the other HTC phones are fairly similar. Just remember to have a hair dryer handy to loosen the adhesive, and buy some extra adhesive to stick on the new screen.

I have this phone.
Pro's
=====
** Bang for buck
1.5GHz Dual Core processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage is quite generous
** Size
4.3 Inch screen is I think the sweet spot for screens anythng bigger you need to use two hands to use the phone all the time.
Con's
=====
** 3G
Yes the phone has HSDPA 2100 that's it, which means if your Telco provider broadcasts on HSDPA 850, 1900 etc your pretty much stuffed, 3G works but not very reliably on this phone, don't bother setting it up as a wireless hotspot because it just won't work, I'm guessing if you country exclusively uses HSDPA 2100 your laughing.
** Build quality
Poor is the best word to describe this. It has tight fitting plastic caps for both USB and Headphone input, which are both difficult to remove and get in the way when you try to insert both the headphones and Micro USB cable. To gain access to the battery, SIM and memory card you need to remove the back cover, which is a real pain in the bum as the phone has a cheap plastic frame which breaks very easily when you try to remove the back cover.
** CPU
It uses an outdated ARM CPU this hardware has caused software compatibility issues as most smart phones use the snap dragon CPU chipset combination these days.
** Shiny plastic
The phone has a shiny plastic body when you have sweaty hands basically the phone turns into a bar of soap, needless to say the phone gets dropped from time to time.
Overall
=======
When I was thinking about purchasing a new phone, I was debating whether to get the Motorola Razr M or i. In the end what swung my decision was that I was on a trip to Taiwan where the HTC phones are made and could get this phone significantly cheaper than the motorola, in hindsight Motorola would have been the better purchase.
Already eyeing up my next phone Sony Xperia Z1 f, looks pretty good, hopefully it's far better than the HTC J.
