This phone is awesome, its aluminum case makes it feel indestructible, i have mine on phantom black color and it looks like a stealth fighter (he he, just kiddin'), anyway it looks great on full black.
The CPU could've been at least 800Mhz, but if u spend some time on the xda forums, you will be able to root it and then overclock it to that speed in no time, just as i did with mine, now its working stably @787Mhz ans with the new rom CM7, it feels as fast as an iphone... its incredible how much faster this phone can perform, besides from the stock rom.
My advice: buy it, root it, overclock it and enjoy the full smartphone experience with this ice cold aluminum phone!

I've searched this phone almost all of the market in DHAKA including B-City, Estran Plaza & Rifle Squire but its rear to find this phone! I've found Only two pices!
One in B-city & other One is in Estran Plaza.
The price of this phone (HTC Legend) is in Estran Plaza is about Tk.35000/= (350 GBP). One the other hand The price of the HTC Desire & Nexus One are same as TK.31000/= (310 GBP). How strange!!!!!!!!!!
How would be the price of Legend is higher than Desire?!?!?

For all the people here who are moaning this is a rubbish phone, go and spend your money elsewhere and post comments on EVERY other phone page on this site that you don't like.
We love our HTC Legend because it does everything we want really well with a sigle core 600mhz processor. Yes it has one speaker, yes it's 5mp camera, yes, it has a single core processor, and it's AWESOME!
A special mention to the person who thinks 2 speakers are better than 1... if you study the basics of how stereo works, your phone speakers would need to be at least as far away as your ears are for it to be true stereo! You silly billy.
Enjoy your web trawling, and enjoy spending loads of money.
I love my HTC Legend, and I respect your opinion, but you're going to be a busy body putting negative comments all obver the web when it's 1000 times easier to post one positive comment on your handset page.

The very reason you have bothered to look up this phone, and post a negative comment just makes you all look sad!
Stereo speakers.. 8mp camera...
Why do WE think this phone is good?
We're very happy with the 5mp camera, happy with the price, happy with one speaker (2 speakers on a phone is hardly considered stereo anyway, if you have studied the schoolyard basics of sound, the way it moves through the air and is recieved by your ears) and we're happy with the speed at which the 600mhz sigle-core processor zips through the menus and loads the Apps!
So, go away and spend all your money elsewhere on exactly what you want, and while you're at it you can log in to every other phone page on this site and tell everyone who has a

why htc is not providing htc sense facility for htc legend? which is already available for htc desire hd, htc desire z, incredible s and inspire 4g.
we can track our device and never lose it, if htc legend is made available to use htc sense facility.

If you like the look of the technical details and it's in your price range, just go for it. :)
If you can afford more expensive, then get the latest Desire model. - It has the same O.S. as the Legend (Android 2.2 - Froyo) but the Desire has a bigger screen, more onboard memory, and a faster chip. (none of these factors have made my Legend seem inferior.)
The Legend does exactly what it says it will do, and it does it all very well for the price.
