guys there are rumors that htc wont update this phone to 2.2! (google it yourself) it's said desire will get an update q3 this year but not legend and wildfire.. so sad.. :(

Are you lost, no seriously are you talking about "Legend" ? I mean its THE best looking phone out in 2010. I'll rate its looks better then iPhone. I've both phone's, I will anyway vote for Legend. It is relatively not only small but a sleek smartphone.

Not sure, but maybe software updates had played its part to mitigate all wi-fi issues.

I think you lost if you saying design & built arena contemporary. Infact, it is gorgeous. Believe I couldn't blink my eye for a while when I saw it first........
It is relatively small & sleek smartphone for sure. I've both iPhone & Legend. And any day i'll rate of Legend over & above iPhone. Perhaps it is THE best looking phone offered in 2010.

Koko: As of yet, apps are installed in the internal memory only. Android 2.2 is said to fix this and make it possible to install to the memory card too. HTC has promised to provide software upgrades to Android 2.2 for the Legend and other new phones, but I do not know when this is due.

You will just have to limit the number of apps you download and remove the ones you don't use. The rumour is that the next version of Android (v2.2) will allow users to install apps to SD card. HTC say that thier 2010 models will get the upgrade from v2.1 in Q3 this year.

Guys, stick with ur old phones. This brick does not have front cam. And what a funny shape. Modern phones supposed to be small, thin & light. HTC got it all wrong!

root the phone then you can put all apps on memory card. and you can do many more stuff.

Iphone the best phone in the world. I've a HTC legend, its battery life only has 8 hours a day. and the stupid Andriod system only can save these apps into phone memory. hate it......

I just got the phone set this week.
Initially, I went to Starhub (in Singapore) intending to get Wildfire. Then I saw Desire and Legend.
In the end, I settled for Legend. Desire is like Sony laptop. Legend is akin to Toshiba laptops, while Wildfire is Acer brand.
So legend is a mid range model to me.
Do I like it? Yup, it works great! Reasonable price and functionality. I'm glad I didn't take the wildfire set.
