I want to answer to some of your questions:
-loudspeaker volume: it is loud enough, but when the volume is set to maximum the quality is not very clear;
-music volume: with the loudspeaker set to max, te sound quality is very good (strange); with the earphones too;
-the vibrator is rather weak, like on any phone from the last 5 years;
-GPRS works on the phone; I never tried it because I only got HSPA or EDGE connections until now, but EDGE is an extension to GPRS; it will also work on vodafone, for sure;
-yes, there are good free apps for every day usage: AndroZIP as packer, file manager and task manager, AK Notes as a kind of Notepad; PDF and Office viewers are installed by default;
-Android 2.2: I hope that it will be made available soon!
-programs are only installed on the main memory, not on the sd card; this will change whit version 2.2. I have installed many games and apps, and I still have 19,62 MB left (on the sdcard I have 3,6 GB free out of 7,9 GB). You cand save documents and data files on the sd card though, the photos and videos are always saved onto the sd card.

Thank u MOHON for answer. Ok. If i buy now legend with 2.1 eclair and when 2.2 froyo available then can i upgrade my legend 2.1 eclair to 2.2 froyo? And if yes then its beter to buy desire. Plz answer legend user. Thanks in advance.

1.can we use normal gprs on this phone?i have a vodafone(india) gprs subcription.will all the apps connect to internet through gprs?
2.is vodafone gprs settings compatible with this phone.where to get them from?
3.how is the loudspeaker performance(loudness) and vibrator strength?
4.how is the loudness of music in the headphone?i have the sennheiser cx300ii.how is the balance of sound in earphone for music?
5.can we download paid apps from the marketplace in india?if yes,hw will be payment done?
6.are there good quality of free apps available for everyday apps such as pdf reader,office viewer,zip manager,file manger,filelocker?
7.could we upgrade to just announced android 2.2 froyo version?

AD, 20 May 2010really... how do you get 3 Days battery.. mine doesnt even ... moreWhen recharging from a computer USB port it lasts only 1-2 days, but when recharging from the power outlet I easily get 4 days. My record was 5 and a half days and I still had about 33% battery. Now after 4 days I had 44% but I recharged it because tomorrow will be a long day...
Configuration:
-WiFi and GPS: deactivated when not needed
-Mobile network (for Internet): deactivated when not needed
-Network Mode: GSM+WCDMA auto
-My Location: Use wireless networks, enabled
I talk about 40 minutes/recharge, also about 2 SMS/day and 1 hour of playing games. Sometimes I connect to the internet via wifi or GSM, maybe 30 minutes/recharge.
