desire ot legend?
i like the style of the legend..but i like the 1Ghz processor in desire ha3...
legend should have 1Ghz..i would have no 2nd thought to get it ha3 ;P

HTC took the Hero "smartphone of the year"
,made it faster, smoother, flowing cover on the os,
added alot of small stuff who were missing on the hero platform' how can it go wrong ???

The Iphone 3G,HTC Hero,SE Satio and Aino are good under sunlight and they are all touch screen phones :)

Finally after reading the Review of the Nexus One and the poor performance of the Amoled screen under sunlight,knowing the Legend will have the same Amoled screen I would rather get an X10 or Hero

It's still way more pocket friendly than X10 or Desire ;)
But yes with all that wasted surface they could have done it with 3.3 or 3.4'' instead of 3.2'' screen

why don't they try to make this phone a little smaller ?
there are 12mm above the display, an 8mm gap between the android keys and the htc-phone button and a big area around the tracking device.
don't waste that much room in my pocket ! .. ;-)

I have a SE Aino right now and I want to get an Android sooner or later, dunno if I wait for the Legend or get the Hero right now :/
Legend is pretty same look as the Hero but with:
-Better screen with 16M colors instead of 65k
-Flash LED
-Perhaps better video recording
But the Hero is certainly cheaper than an upcoming phone like Legend and it can be rooted easily...
Also LED screen like the Legend's one would not be bad under sunlight?

YESSSS!!!! I just read that the HTC legend is headed over to sprint as the Hero 2!!! They will probally get rid of the ugly chin but that's a plus...now my only problem is figuring out do I want to get rid of my Blackberry tour...

this will be the perfect phone i am definatly gona get this it's just a hero made perfect, the only thing that was wrong with hero was onli up to 2gb micro sd ,flash,trackball and some orther minor issues

Eddie, 21 Feb 2010i think HTC does that because of the limitations of the And... moreThis isn't due to the limitations of Android as both the Desire & Nexus One have a screen resolution of 480x800 on their 3.7" screens. Perhaps HTC have taken this retrograde step on the Legend just to make these more expensive phones seem all the better. Come on HTC sort it out!
