After reading all about WiMAX and LTE, I would prefer using LTE. Anyway technologies have a half-life of only a few months these days. Unfortunately there is no WiMAX or LTE in Australia, and the 3G that we have, is not being used by the general public to the fullest, specially when the pricing is sky high. Its like a rip off.
I hope HTC comes up with a decent practical handset with LTE by 2010. Who needs 3G anymore, we need more browsing speed.

The HTC Touch HD looks way better with its curve shape.

Wow.. the design is awesome. Should have been Touch HD. I hate Touch HD design.

Will there be a similar version coming out to other markets? let's say America?? Even if the specs are adjusted to our networks... I like it... but not enough to move to Siberia...

It would definitely be the ultimate Android phone, if it had 3G instead of (or in addition to) WiMax, since US carriers don't use WiMax yet. If Android's gonna beat the iPhone, they need to get on this hardware (or something better) ASAP. And leave the Video calling, FM radio, and TV features intact!!

why don't HTC release a 3g-enabled version for general release? I don't understand...big screen, thin, it's what people want!

3G in Russia is available mainly in far rural regions. Afaik there is a test network in Saint Petersburg, but there are no plans for 3G in Moscow, as 3G frequencies are owned by military.

Russia is among top mobile markets in the world and one of most attracting market. Nokia 5800 will launch also in few days here.
