Craz, 30 Oct 2014Dude, HTC has exclusively launched E8 only in some countrie... moreDude, HTC does not say it will not work in US when I contacted them and this is not a any nation specific model. It will NOT connect in 4G LTE because to connect with the 3G / 4G network, a device needs to use both of the AWS 1700/2100 bands (not just one or the other). but will connect in 2G. The same phone connected in Canada, Frankfurt and India.

You can use different camera apps with better control.

It's not International phone like M8 or any other smartphone. So It's obvious that it'll not work in US.

One... moreHTC E8 DUAL SIM DOES NOT WORK IN US very true, I bought a E8 this month and got it to US SIM1 does not work, I tried HTC support and T-Mobile support to configure and connect atleast 2G it does not connect, both could not resolve my issue. Only SIM2 works, so please do not buy this if you are planning to bring it US.

I have recently purchase HTC one E8, the biggest problem is the HTC sense. The phone app & calendar is not at all user ferindly. The fonts are not visible on white backdrop. I will not recommend this phone. Planning to sell it. just purchase 10 days back

Can HTC One E8 were able to move all it's application to an external SD card? Cause I bought an HTC Desire 600 last year, with this fone all application cannot be move to SD card.

I've been using this phone for 2 months and it really brings awesome experience. Coming from Samsung Galaxy S3 it's really a good upgrade to E8. Here are the pros and cons of the device.
Pros
Dual SIM Support for both CDMA and GSM
Excellent Display
Beautiful design (which looks solid in hand unlike Samsung cheap plastic materials I've used)
Great Battery life
Good Camera (but not the best)
Awesome Music experience via speakers and with Headphones( it's the best headphones I've seen so far and Boomsound Speakers sound is a killer)
Excellent Performance(It is a true beast not even a single lag I've experienced till now)
Cons
Camera under Low light conditions is average unless you manage few tweaks in camera options, Finding the accessories for this phone is difficult as it's not popular it's not available in local shops so you're left with no option but to buy online
So overall I'd definitely recommend this device and I'm really happy about every aspect of this beauty.

The dual SIM version will not work in US due to band incompatibility for 4G. The SIM1 will not connect SIM2 will work. Repeated request to HTC has no answers or even tech support who can guide it connecting SIM1 in 2G. HTC points to service provider (T-Mobile) and T-Mobile to HTC.
Please DO NOT BUY this phone if you are planning to use in USA

Great device...
I am using it since 1 month and found it superior over Sony Z1,Samasung.
Good sensors:
One feature which i like most is ,Auto call pick whne you get the phone near to your ear.
Battery Life:
For a service class person.It's bettery last for a day with moderate 3 G usage.
Great Sound and beats :
It has great sound qwality. I have used Sony Z1 earlier. I found it's sound better than sony. Ringtone\Music with clear beats are amzing and i feal the difference.
HTC Blink and os custimization:
I was fedup with horizontal scroll of Sony and also Samsung has similar kind of os setting. I feel that there is no need to install any louncher to cutomize menu with HTC.It already has all things what every i want.
HTC Blink is one of the great application ,which i like the most. It has highlight feature and I can combine my facebook,twiter account toagther,it aslo has TOI and HT,Techword option.Which can also combined in one screen.
Simple a amazing device and strongly recommanding to those who don't want a phablet and need a elegent looking phone in their hand.

I have bought HTC E8 recently. Please comment on points raised below.
It doesn't have it own File Manager? What is the wayout for same.
It's Camera quality is very low in Dark. Any option there which would improve it's quality? Specially video quality?
How can I change 2G Network to 3G in Slot 1 as in Samsung phones there is option of changing Network.

Dear All,
I have buy HTC one E8 on 22nd Oct.It's nice phone having good battery backup. But may possible it's due to not having much application in my phone. Camera quality is good in day light but in dark it's performance is worst as compare to Samsung Note3 Neo, S3 as I have compare with them by clicking at same time.
Your comments are welcome on my review in advance.
HTC E8 doesn't have his File manager you need to download it from Playstore and you will get annoyed with Advt. on it.
Main drawback is lacking of user manual. You need to connect it to you tube to check features of phone.
As a new user to HTC I am really disappoint with it.As don't want to connect net all the time to check simple features of the phone.

my battery is draining a lot when i sleep battery is fully charged at 100% when i wake up in the morning it is about 70% iam turning off the mobile data and also battery saver is on
even though it is draining
is anyone facing the same issue
