I've been using this phone for 1 week. Awesome phone, I really liked everything about the phone. Coming from Galaxy S3, It's a really worthy upgrade. Camera is not bad actually as it captures good enough details but it's not the best in the market.

Mine too gets to 45 celcius on gaming like asphalt 8 etc. but the feel is just warm not hot. HTC themselves have stated in the guide that graphic intensive games wud cause the battery to heat up and its normal.

sam, 08 Sep 2014Pls tell me which one is good phone HTC E8 else Samsung S5.hardware and software wise E8 is the best. S5 has a better camera though otherwise no reason you should miss out E8! infact E8's front cam is better than any other phone. just rear cam is okayish

You may have b... moreyou are right. the benchmark score comes above 45000 indeed. but I'm facing severe heating issues. in simple games the temp rises to 42 deg and about half hour of using cam/videos it shot above 45deg. none of my friends using GS5 have faced such severe heating issues. what's been expierence of other E8 owners? If its not a generic problem, I must get my handset replaced from htc. Its been a week since i have bought.

I got Antutu benchmark score of above 40000. You may have battery saver mode on so it didnt gave good score as cpu usage is low in battery saver. The phone never gets too much heated as compared to other flagships like s5 n all. E8 is the best buy. I m using it from past 3 weeks and i m in love wid it..

The grey doesn't come off at all. Take it from someone who is using it like me. Others are just skeptical buyers who are yet to buy.
