I'm using it form 10 Aug ,it's really compact ,stylish,fast and having good battery backup and camera before this I was using Apple and BlackBerry z10 ,I don't miss anything much compared to those phones ,it 'll also get heat if u use 3g and games like all other phones
Mailings on android was much behind compared to Apple and BlackBerry ,rest all are way ahead .

swordfish, 13 Aug 2014Where did you check that? Mine shows 801 in cpu-z appItz chipset is MSM8974 on board & not MSM8975 as shown, apart from the Soc 800 or 801 confusion in Indian version, pls revert HTC or if any 1 can help..

Please please tell me that, how is this phone? Earlier I was a blackberry user and I love Iphone and Blackberry for their exceptional kind service (my blackberry redington service centre changed the display worth INR 8000 at free of cost AFTER ONE MONTH OF WARRANTY EXPIRED!) unbelievable kind service.
Right now I'm using LENOVO S920 android phone as I do not wanna go to any unknown chinese phone I thought that this lenovo would be a good choice. But this is drity creep and gives lot of troubles. These troubles nobody will speak about. because each bugs will be particular piece specific. This phone (my piece) heats up like toaster WHEN I USE 3G DATA connection at ROAMING. Not heating in home network. When connected to laptop USB not detecting this phone many times. Its a bug. I visited the service centre many times. the service centre guys the way they treat is pathetic. They even not ready to accept the customers explanation of problem. They always say its normal in adroid phone.
So, damn tired of the creepy brands and need to go for a REAL PREMIUM phone which offers real premium service.
My requirements. 1) Exceptional kind service 2) Android phone 3) Dual sim 4) Good camera 5) Good screen 6) Strong battery for highest 3G service use all day 7) NO heating problems 8) No any specific "piece based bugs" (one piece will have one particular problem and other will not have that problem).
I dont need great gaming experience as I'm not using the phone for gaming.

Can anyone tell me if HTC One mini 2 camera is superior than E8 or they are the same? As specification shows both contain 13MP sensor but I really cant figure out as there are more camera modes & options available in One Mini 2.

M8: Contrast ratio: 1256 (nominal), 2.371 (sunlight)
E8: Contrast ratio: 1208:1 (nominal), 2.185 (sunlight)
M8's Display is brighter.

However, I am not sure about 4G yet: as only Airtel is offering this and I am not sure if they support this band. I asked the technical guy, he says nonsense "that they have tie-up only with Iphone etc...." I am planning to go to Airtel this evening and ask them to give me a 4G enabled SIM and test for myself. Will keep you posted.

My HTC One E8 is also showing SNAPDRAGON 800 processor. I have bought it locally for 33k. I think Indian version is different from international version.
