i strongly suggest use Corning Gorilla Glass .last time my friend brought htc 816 which is without Corning Gorilla Glass within 10 days display was broken when it in pocket.
Htc e8 must be rocking but without Corning Gorilla Glass not possible to buy.
one thing gsmarena show without Corning Gorilla Glass but i saw Gorilla Glass official wed site show Corning Gorilla Glass.
Actually i don't know real story but again say as htc user it must be use Corning Gorilla Glass.
plz confirm as soon as possible

I think it will come with gorilla glass because nowadays even 10k phone are using gorilla glass

This phone will rock in India if priced around 30,000INR
and
the phone is having much required Gorilla Glass.

I was waiting for this phone for very long time i.e a Dual Sim Flagship phone and with plastic body...!
I actually like the metal body , but it has many problems...my brother uses HTC ONE(M7)...and it has many issues with the network connections...because its hard for network to penetrate through metal body...!
So i think plastic bodies are better...!

5. Request to provide option for transfer of applications to sd card....
6. Provide internal memory min of 10gb....
Feedback from customers: if u(htc) add these options to e8 we will develop ur company..... we will fan of ur company....

Why?? just why after they finally bring out an HTC one with a good camera it's has a plastic cover ?!!!! seriously Why ? why don't they want it to be perfect ?
