I have e8 m8sd model too. I m sure about dual SIM active. I have received calls on SIM 2 during call ongoing on SIM1. Evdo also active on SIM no1 if I m making calls via SIM2 even I can call from SIM 1 to SIM2 and vise versa. I have grey colour one.

AnonD-148385, 07 Jan 2015Please Can any one Who used this model asserts that the pho... morei brought this htc e8 m8sd,red colour,dual sim version,and using it.actually i read a opinion here that its dual active sim and some written that its dual active if you use cdma and gsm, gsm and gsm may cause standby,all these reviews are false,and may be the handset variant is different, thats why i mentioned the e8 m8sd red colour variant on strting..my as per my exp reg e8 dual sim mobile,i found this is dual sim standby only,not active means you can not get call in second sim if you talking on one sim,its shows out of coverage area,reg data its fine in evdo, and call quality ok,boom sound good,im using wifi hotspot working better,if any body saying its dual active thats not correct,that handset may be imported from china,and htc making handsets for different regions based on the structure of signal reception quality,you can not get much signal strength some times.its my opinion after using this handset.my handset is indian variant made in taiwan,im happy about all things except dual sim active, i brought this for that reason only,but my wish not compleated,so before buying this handset you pl ask the dealer its active or standby..if any body have solution for this problem pl tell me to solve this issue.

htc one e8 vs htc one m8 eye, which is better. the processor on htc website is same only m8 eye is clocked at 2.3 ghz.
Please help as the price has only 1 to 2k difference on online sites.

i brought one and and i used only 4 days, then damaged, i went to htc center to repair or to replace and i could see many people coming with many problems
i don't know what happened to htc
still my problem not solved

Dont buy this phone! It isnt worth the money! Camera function is bad. Focusing is super slow.

I bought e8 dual sim made in Taiwan on 31/12/14 and found it the best phone in all aspects except camera quality
Unfortunately dropped into washbasin .Now it doesn't show network on both sims. Service centre Jaipur says it's sim slot should b changed it will cost me about Rs 8000
Will someone guide me plz what should I do ?

Try using GadgetShieldz full body screen protectors If you want grey,it may help to prevent from happening.I'm using white which is very premium looking.
E8 will get lollipop update with Eye experience in between feb and march.
