amit, 10 Jan 2015hi dude i have heard lot about e8 camera problems like pink... moreits very simple amit if u like photography and takes lots of pics den go for samsung galaxy s5 bcoz it has better camera den htc one m8 and e8. but if u like normal photography and like to capture selfies den go for htc desire eye, which almost like htc one m8.
now e8 camera is average for those who do lots of photography but if u takes snaps occasionaly and want to take selfies time to time den e8 is not at all a bad option bcoz it has many oder advantages like dual sim, low price as compare to other choices. and yes i have never face any kind of pink or yellow tint problem in my pics. its all depend on the available lighting . so for me e8 camera is more den enough. but u want more den go for htc desire eye or else solely want best camera cpabilities den go for s5

And about desire eye, i have'nt used it but i assure you that desire eye is another htc one m8 with big selfie camera in front. so i am definately sure der will be no difference in boomsound speakers of htc desire eye as compare to these devices.

kc, 10 Jan 2015hey thanx for the help, need one more answer, like i hav noti... morehello again kc. i had broadband connection at my home place and i was using my laptop as a wifi hotspot for my home using connectify me before i switch to relience cdma truly unlimited plan. so at that time i had never faced any connectivity issues in my htc one e8 wifi. it was always connected to the laptop wifi hotspot through my broadband.
Although i am agree that some devices get frequently disconnected like my old sony xperia pro phone but i never face dis issue with e8. sometimes it is not the problem of the phone. so it may be our wifi modem. so i think u will not face any issue such like with htc one e8.

kc, 09 Jan 2015hey mk can u tell me anything about the gaming capability o... morehello kc. as both htc one e8 and and nexus 5 have same adreno 330 gpu. so der is no big difference in gaming although htc one e8 has latest 801 chipset as compared to nexus 5.
now the facts that will benifit you if u play games on e8 over nexus 5 are
                    1. screen quality- htc one e8 has slcd3 which is more vibrant as compare to nexus5 as i have compared it with my friend's nexus 5.
                    2. spekaers quality-This will make a huge difference when u play games on htc on e8 boomsound speakers. u will definately njoy ur games on e8 than nexus 5
I have played Asphalt 8 on full settings, modern combat 5 at medium and high settings, leos fortune and nfs most wanted on full settings. all the games are running perfectly fine. i have also played all PS1 games with ePSXe emulator with my usb game controller, All games are running perfectly fine. so choice is yours.

Firstly it may be problem in your area bcoz not every area support evdo network. so first try to confirm that. now after selecting evedo/1x netwok in cdma options in the mobile data option and also check in dual network manager that u have selected prefered data network for slot 1.
now if everything is perfect and if you are gettin both evdo and 1x signal for sim slot 1 den u can browse evdo speed. but if you are gettin only 1x network den its not possible to browse at high speed bcoz u need to have Ev sybol above and below dat 1x network for slot 1.
now send msg HSD to 55333 or 55444 for activating high speed data. do let me knw if u r still facing any problem.

If your operator keeps sending cell broadcast messages regularly, believe me it is going to be a nightmarish experience. Imagine something popping up on your screen frequently and not letting you do anything.

Nothing like a Sony if having DUAL SIM capability is not a requirement.

I recently purchased this phone (dual-SIM version) and now having a blast with it. I was weighing between this (unremovable battery, no SD-card slot, Lenovo Vibe Z2 pro (unremovable battery, no SD-card slot) and Xperia Z3 dual (removable battery, SD-card slot) and decided to take this one because it has wide enough screen, the price is lower than others, and it has stellar review.

The performance is excellent. It can take whatever I hit it with: 3d games, 2d games, 10bit 720p videos, comic books, browsings, etc etc. Excellent overall!

What suprised me most is the fact that for night photography, the camera is top notch! For real! This makes me very-very happy :)
