Got this phone two days back.

1. HEATING while charging
2. Battery doesnt last for more than 8-9 Hrs.

    If it would have sharper camera than the current ,it would have been the best smartphone ever in terms of build quality ,performance,looking ,audio ,net surfing and battery back up.
    I specially liked BoomSound,great in hand feeling ,audio quality in video recording, fast internet, fast battery charging ,daylight photography

          Hi E8 users,

          It's been 2 week's since I bought mine. This phone is awesome in all ways...

          But I do have question fr u all. I'm facing an issue that am nt able to change songs in headset mode eeither using an HTC headsets or skullcandy headsets !!!!!

          Do u people also having this issue or its a bug in HTC make ????

          Pls let me know...

              Hi all.... IM using E8 fr past 2 week's and the phone is awesome in all ways...

              But I do have a doubt I am unable to change songs in headset mode either in HTC headsets or my skullcandy....

              Dono whether am the only one or all users have this issue....

I use a CDMA se... moreGo to settings - Mobile data- select slot1 network - preferred network - CDMA mode select. Then restart your phone. Otherwise replace the sim. SIM card may partially damage during nano cutting. I have facing same problem previously.

                            Hello all, review after 3 days of use.
                            Battery- has a very goood battery life ..lasts more than a day, no battery draining issues whatsoever which is good
                            Gaming- I would say best ph for gaming this. I did an hr of gt racing and the ph warms up to only 43 degrees which is normal and same as m8 and other flagships...so nothing to worry abt heating...and s airtels 2300 band not supported but wait when vodofone release 4 g, it might take 1800 band which this device supports...so it depends on u whether u use 4 g now or wait till other operators use diferent bands for 4 g...

So it won't work in In... more4G will work from next year when 4G service is released on band 1800Mhz, which will be started next year in India. Our phone has that band. And they will provide a software update for the same with the Lollipop update.

                                  I have HTC E8 brought from reliance e.shop. I use a CDMA service. I am having problems with connecting to the network. My phone remains out of reach. I can't use Internet. My old phone shows full network when HTC E8 shows no network. I need to restart my phone if I want to call someone!! I haven't tried the GSM on this. What is the problem?

                                      It got all feature's what i want like dual sim extarnal memory selfy camera 5mp no body beat in features i compared all great phones like nexus 5 samsung s5 sony experia z & all now i am going to take this awesome phone if some issue is there then suggest me THANKS!!!!!

But due to non expandable memory and fragile body(just look at Youtube drop tests), I've gone for E8. Loudspeaker on G2 is very Low. E8 beats G2 in every aspect except Camera as E8's camera is good but not great. I'd suggest u to go for E8 as G2 is outdated phone now.
