if you would see some brands like Samsung,sony or lg phones battery start to get weak after many months or a year,it's related to battery and charger ampere and voltage.if increase charger voltage and ampere,yes battery will charged faster but quality and battery stamina will drop very sooner than natural time. it's one of the superiorities htc has.

E9 plus comes with 5V 1A adapter and charging is pretty slow I have to say.... Can I use 5V 1.5A adapter? Or will it cause problems like overheating and battery life? I dont have any auto rotation issues,FYI I updated twice after buying E9plus

BTW I saw some bending issue in comments and I checked my phone. There was no bending at a a glance from both sides. But Im not sure too. I use a back cover which is transparent and has glass like look. it is rigid also. But the only problem is that it steals the beauty of the finish. Without the cover, it will drag the attention of the public as I hv experienced it on first few days from purchase

Hi all,
In Australia it's not here yet (don't think it will come here to be honest which is a shame) so I grey imported from Asia.
OMG this phone is amazing. I came from a Note 3 so was worried about the battery performance but now that I have 'burned it in' with four full power charges from 0-100 it's going great.
I commute 1hour45mins a day during the week, I game heavily and listen to music during the day and all of lunch, browse a fair deal and I find it's roughly the same as my old Note 3. I can charge it from 0-35% within 30 mins I counted roughly from the wall charger so I think the battery is suitable. Any more power gaming and I think it might die before I get home of an evening but that's hardly ever.
I got the Gold Sepia colour and jeez louise this is a thing of beauty. I can't stop staring at it. It's marvel. It's genius. Love it.
Going to get the wifey the Classic Rose Gold one but if any owners of that colour or anyone who has seen it please let me know if the back is actually glossy. The pre-fab render on HTC India website shows it's quite reflective but I could be seeing that wrong.
Otherwise, I can say the camera shots are amazing. The selfie cam is great too and is suitable for night as well I find with some minor fiddling. During the day the front camera is awesome and takes great shots. I think I have the Ultrapixel one if i'm reading the box right but I did ask for the 13mp version initially as they advertised but now that I have used it I'm not fussed and don't care which version I have. The shots are awesome :)
Only game this lags on is when I am collecting multiple nodes on-screen in Dominations. Only game I noticed lag and only for a few seconds. GTA and Infinity Blade 3 run smooth as butter.
Also running NOVA launcher (had Go launcher z a few days ago) again smooth as butter.
And....music is fantastic. I have a pair of Xiaomi Mi 2 ear buds and the boomsound coming from Poweramp player is phenomenal. No denying here the music playback is the best of any droid (4 phones) or iphone (4 with 5s being last) I have owned hands down.
Overall I am ecstatic as you can tell. Great purchase and yeah I can't wait to put a cover on this thing and keep it special for a long time to come.
Last thing...the screen. 2k resolution is better on this than it is the note 4. Used my mates note 4 side by side when I got this for one day. No doubt the colours just 'pop' more I find on this screen. Too much digital vibrance and saturation on the Super AMOLED Note 4 I find personally but that's me.
Anyway anyone sitting on the fence please stop sitting. Take the plunge, I was sitting on this or the note 4 for two weeks, you won't regret it. And go gold or go home :)

Do not forget that the phone has a large display and there is any possibility to bend slightly.

I could not find a protective cover for my htc one E9, in Dubai they told me that it is a new phone and it doesn's haev cover yet

Why the hell u making rumours?? dude i paid huge sum and my phone got little curve which is clearly visible. so wannted to know whether its only my mobile or anyone else is facing this issue. i handle mobiles with care and the only reason could be keeping it in the jeans pocket. And WHY THE HELL I SPREAD RUMORS AFTER SPENDING 34000 Rupees.
if you didnt come across this issue then just say No.

Ok - shifted back to E9+ after I moved away from it as my Z2 Pro bricked out suddenly. Battery seems to be better after last update but call quality issues still persist esp on Bluetooth.
