good phone, but has no communication NFC with one important detail, everything else is fine for the price.

impressive phone, built quality, and performance (49,000 antutu). big beautiful screen and impressive boomsound (though seems less louder than other htc flagships). i have chosen the nexus 6p skin from htc theme and it looks great, add the dual sim advantage and the temptating price and this is the device of the year. but no one is perfect and there are big cons for me/ the first is battery life which is nothing to be proud of, not to talk about the slow charge and the second is the camera, which is not sharp to my standard (even my daughters desire 816 camera was better ) and to shot movies with a phablet without ois, results with jumps.

I have been using this device for two months now. It's quite snappy and fast (after I got rid of HTC and Google bloatware). Battery easily lasts me through a day, although I don't use it too heavily. Sound from front facing speakers is great. It is an excellent phone for media consumption. Few people noticed it looks good too. The downside would be an average camera. It lacks OIS and aperture could be wider. However, in this price range, it is probably a best buy.

I hv been using this phone for last 3 months....no issues at all....it's working pretty well. I must say it's a great phone.But did any of u do software update? And is it working well after that? My friend has E9+ , after he updated software, his phone is facing both software and hardware problem ...so I m confused whether I should do software update or not. Please reply.

Huge Disappointment, I feel very sorry to purchase this stupid device, it heats up, very short life battery, 32GB but half of it is consumed already out of the box, very low voice when talking on the phone, very bad music player with Bluetooth devices, very bad camera, very primal interface even with themes reminded me of my first Nokia, crabby file management of the SD card, and the list continues.... I have tried almost every brand that is available in the market, HTC and Sony are the worst among all brands. I don't recommend it, instead check out Huawie.

I just got this phone, I LOVE IT. Great price, great screen, great battery life and themes are beautiful. This is great phone, you will NOT be disappointed if you purchase this phone.

The price drop to HK$2398 in Hong Kong -- which is dual sim dual standby.
I bought it for my father to replace his current HTC butterfly s.

M9 is to expensive. E9 seems alot cheaper.

I bought this phone a week ago and i must say it has excellent flagship performance. If the plastic exterior doesn't bother you then the HTC One E9 is an excellent choice.
What I am not sure about is if it has Gorilla glass. Anyone knows anything about this?
