this phone has gorilla glass 4 for sure. since e9+ & m9+ both has gorilla glass 4. So this ME must also have it. though its not mentioned anywhere. i am using it from last 6 months without any screen protection & still there are no scratches. not even minor ones. with regular usage.

Closing all background app or greenifying solves 90% of the problems. I havent tried the specific game but you can check others to make sure you do not have a faulty phone. #htcboomsoundrocks

Until and unless you will use this phone roughly or have a tendency to drop your phone, no screen protectors are needed. I didnt use any and the screen is so dazzling!

sithum, 17 Feb 2016i meaned,i selected but didn't buy /so eny one who have thi... moreI live in Sri Lanka I have bought this phone couple of months ago screen quality is superior and there are plenty of screen protectors available in the market I don't clearly understand your question I prefer back case but if you want to protect the screen apart from screen protector use a dot view case I hope you understand best of luck
