DELL MASTER
I'm afraid they are not lying to you - T-Mobile do indeed whip out the Wi-Fi on the Compact 3.
I only found this out after buying one and calling T-Mobile to ask why I couldn't find it on my device.
Clearly just a money-maker forcing us to subscribe to their Web N Walk packages.
I wonder if anyone out there has tried a firmware upgrade? If so, does this solve the problem or is the Wi-Fi gone forever?????

Hello to all. What do you mean by "really bad speaker quality"? When you say speaker you mean the one from where you hear when someone talk to you on the phone, or the loud speaker? Please advise me. Thank you.

for eten x500 fan.Eten is a no name firm, as HTC is no 1 in Windows mobile phone, they produce also Qtec.in comparative test Omap at 200 Mhz ia faster than Samsung.also is a difrence in size and weight.P3300 is 20 gr less than eten.it has a scroll that is very easy to use and the last thing P3300 is only 400 euro in ROMANIA

For all HTC P3300 fans.. Before acquire one, please take a look at Eten Glofiish X500: for same options and higher speed processor Glofiish X500 is cheaper with 15-20 %(prices in Romania).

Actually this p3300 is real bad. All that cheap plastic makes it light and can live with the cheap plasticky feel but Taiwan manufacturer HTC is still using that cheap slow TI OMAP850 200 MHz. You can barely run anything on it. Also does anyone know how to pop out that cute glowing fuzzball to clean it or do you just spit on the little sucker.

I was waiting for the Nokia N95, but I ran out of patience and started looking for alternatives. Bought an HTC P3300 and really glad I did. The phone is solid and feels like it is good quality. The GPS works well in a car (unlike the N95 according to the reports I read). If you want movies and interactive games on your mobile, this phone will probably disappoint you because it is a bit slow (testing with an MP4 movie optimized for an iPod, the video was VERY jerky). But then again, I already knew about this from the reports I read. If you are looking for a good business phone with a good GPS, you should take a look at this phone it is excellent.

I have this phone and can truly say, I have not had any problems occur. I just have one question maybe someone can help me out with. My carrier is Cingular and would anybody know how to set up Cingular's media net on this phone without the WiFi? Any help would gratefully appreciated. Thanks
