concerning skype, there should be a low frequency special version of Skype available. I know it from an other site
http://www.forummobiles.com/index.php?s=ce59bd538637d2a40ff313a3abb5bd06&showtopic=114460&pid=1252111&st=0entry1252111
With that version, the P4350 reviewer of that website confirms that skype is working without any problem.
Again can anybody test and give a feedback?
Thank to the tester(s) !!!

I heard from an HTC P4350 user that skype can work correctly when the cache memory is empty. Can somebody else test it and give his feed back?

How does skype work on this phone?
I am thinking of buying either this one or the tytn. It depends if skype works properly on the phone and how Office works.
Please help me!?

the phone is really 17mm, so very slim!! which was one of the reasons i got one last week. The keyboard of coarse has a backlight and also has a spring inside the keyboard.

Is this phone really this slim; 17mm, or is this a typo and it's really the same as all the others at 22mm??

Processor speed is overated. Key thing about all these phones is software stability, battery life etc. The reason I suspect HTC uses a "slower" processor is because of battery life concerns. I have tried a few phones, this is definitely NOT slower than one with a faster processor. I like this phone a lot!

Now this is really a piece of fine equipment! I just bought it despite of some of the negative critics about the processor speed. It is far fast enough, even feels faster than my Qtek 9000!!! So indeed the numbers don't always mean what they suggest.
This phone/pda feels heavy, but for me that radiates quality and taste and. It's sturdy and solid, definitely not plastic. The keyboard shifts, feels, functions great without missing the right keytouch.
Later on I'll finish my review, but I can say for now that all the guys who complain about speed, "plain looks" and the question what market-gap HTC was intended to fill with this device anyway, are tired of living to my opinion. I was seeking for the right device for me for years (formfactor, speed, looks, feel, connectivity, etc.) and this one comes reeeeeel close. And I'm NOT a shareholder of HTC!! ;)

Holy geez, like everyone says it\'s super fast already just like p3300 and they both have that dual core 850 omap processor. Just ask anyone who has the p3300 and they are happy with the speed.
Now why is it only the p3300 has that cute glowing ball to play with and forgot to put it in p4350. Does anyone know how to pop that little sucker out and attach it to this p4350. There must be a way to take it out \'cause you gotta be able to take it out when it gets all nasty and moving around funny or do people just spit on it and wipe it clean.

Processor speed doesnt mean anything if you are not relating to what it is going to be used for. I had a Universal which is double the processing speed, and that was still slow. The main reason for the lack of speed is mainly the background programs that dont close. People try to get around that by adding programs like the Spb button, but that actually slows it down even more. The great thing about this P4350 is that it includes HTC's new task manager where X actually closes the f***ing window. Now only if they could start putting more program memory into these devices.

holy wow this another dual core processor thing sure is most popular like their p3300 without the goofy loos lint ball.
don't listen to the losers below whinin about slow. they're all just jealous they don't have or paid too much for theirs. fast like the the pricey battery hog titn but less fat and nicer looking. pat yerself htc for giving birth to this big winner! this deserves a 10 all the way!
