panache user, 23 Dec 2013the phone itself was good until I installed apps then bater... moreI have the same problem. I wish htc will let us upgrade it to a more sevure bersion like icecream . But our panaches ram is probably too low. So i got the most secure instead Blackbery Q10 and ots awesome

This phone is very fast and the os is very good. The... morethe phone itself was good until I installed apps then baterry dies the same day I fullcharge. I think its the OS that its running in Android 2.3.3 which is the least secure. its 2 years old wish they can let us update it to Android 4.0
I noticed after ununstalling the latest app I installed the battery can last up to 4 days of standby. now the auto rotate screen sucks.

Battery has puffed and shuts down in 10 15 sec after start up display got cracks when fell from 3 feet

After turning it on, it shuts off by itself, and now it's stuck at HTC screen. I tried to do a hard reset (volume down+power) to no avail.

This phone was great when I first got it. But after a 3 month period of usage, the phone started lagging a bunch and now after a year or two, this phone doesn't even turn on. It boots for a little and then shuts off again. I don't know what's wrong. A downside to this phone is that the battery life is absolutely awful... :/ Even so, for a first phone, it was decent.

Pros:
This phone is very fast and the os is very good. The trackpad is a great neat thing.
Cons:
I bought this phone shiny brand new for $300CAD. I used it for about 3-4 months. It started rebooting by itself and I didnt even use it. It kept breaking and I had to get a replacement. THis phone was great until mine broke.

I didnt regret using this phone, am really enjoying it.
It meets all My requirement. Kudos to htc for this phone.

maryana, 21 Nov 2012how can i choice my own ring tong in this phone Go to your music scroll using the black thumb pad and select option button next to home screen select set as ringtone follow instruction.

i have this phone for about a week now and am having a difficult time trying to get wifi hot spot to work my ibm laptop sees it but won't connect can anyone help me i am not good at figuring these things ot and when i called support care with mobilicity they seemd to be contercending and when i asked for tech help i was stonewalled not good customer relations i am sorry to say
but if anyone can help me connect my cel and laptop i would be gratful indeed
