Am also using the same phone in Bahrain and had the same issue while trying to download the application from play store. Follow the following steps:-
1. Power off your mobile
2. After power off, press the volume down key in the side pannel and keep pressing the power on button until the phone boots.
3. Then a screen will come with the option of factory reset. This you have to select by using the volume up and down key. Once you select this bar press the power button at top. your phone will erase all data and set to factory and then you login with your gmail you it will perfectly work and you can download all the apps without any trouble. in case of any more doubts am in whatsapp @ +973 36645001.keep in touch

HTC Rezound is capable of handling internet services up to 4G.
If you are only getting Egde on ur phone, it means ur Service Provider have limited your connection.
