First battery charging is reccommended for 12 hours. I charged it for 12 hours for the first time, even it showed that it was charged like 50%. My batter goes upto 3-3.5 days now if I charge it full...

is is e same as C500? i think it is rite? i hope this hope is not bad by e way is it diffcult to surf e net as its not a touch screen phone? i saw alot of user saying that e battery is sucky? i hope to hear more comments as im thinking of getting this phone thanks :)

hey everyone! just got the S710 and so far so good. One question, does anyone else think the sliding qwerty mechanism is not stiff enough? meaning it's a little slidy when your thumb is against it and the phone is "closed". I'm wondering if I should return mine or if this is common.

As this hasn't got a touch screen, how do you navigate around it? I'm used to an iPAQ and can't see how you "click" on icons etc?
Can anyone help with this, please?

Yes, it works perfectly with Skype, make sure you download the version for Pocket PC.
I use it, it has no problems at all.
It's a great phone, enjoy it.

Have you tried any IM softwares on this phone like verichat ,IM+ ,agile messenger.the phone looks fine will consider it if IM softwares work fine on it.

I've had the HTC S710 for a few days and have decided that I really am not a big fan. I had sync problems with it and the keyboard is very stiff and harder to use than the HTC Excalibur (Dash) I have been using. I found it harder to use than the Dash with it's dedicated keyboard. The phone is beautiful, but just not my cup of tea. I plan to stick with the Dash or another phone with a dedicated keyboard.

Weak sound on the phone, same as treo 650. We got use to have high sound voice in others cell phones,then, this is a problem. The rest is quite good

Finally HTC wake up from behind the scene after last 5 years produce PDA Phone product for O2, Dopod, Orange SPV, Smart SPV, Qtek,etc,etc.. HTC make its own brand, good then. HTC even own DOPOD now.Thats a self confidence!

Windows has the options. Skyp, Slingbox... I have never seen Skype for Symbian? How can you get Skype on a Nokia?
