If you can't update the software yourself online, I would suggest that you take it back to a Leaf outlet (these are the distributors of HTC in South Africa) or to the MTN outlet where you did your contract upgrade.

please can anyone tell me how i can get htc s740 installation cd and earphone.i lost mine recently.

Hi I have a HTC S740. Brand new upgrade phone, but as soon as you slide the it open to use the keyboard, the screen keeps jumping from portriat to landscape and won't stay landscape. Is there any specific setting for this function?
Please help- I am fed up already. Wonderfull phone, just this problem.
Hope someone can suggest how to solve this problem.

This is the end of HTC S740 ! An official from HTC distributor had sad that this model is no more on market and it doesn't be made . they offer me HTC Snap but it is so uglyyyy

My S740 batterry only last 2hours and when i slide it open it keeps going to contacs everytime. what could be wrong?

I was looking for the automatic feature of going onto meeting profile when you set up a meeting in your Outlook calendar that I had with my Imate SP5. This feature is not well published and none of the suppliers that I questioned actually knew about this feature, maybe it is so common that no attention is paid to it, but it is really very convenient to have because you never have to worry about your phone ringing in meetings. Well this phone has the feature and I can recommend it to any users who have liked the working of the SP5 as it appears to work similarly. The only negative that I had is that the dail and hang up keys are small in comparison to the other keys. Apart from that, I think it is a lovely phone.

which is the best navigator software fot WM6.1
and another one:
when Windows Mobile 6.5 or 7 will be release, are we be able to upgrade our S740 operative system? or are we forced to use WM6.1 as long as the phone will last?

Mr. Sherif I'm glad to tell you that here in RSA you can get the HTC phones anytime as long its still available on the makert. Just get in touch with your Consular(Embassy)boss.

i use htc s740 for a few month,s740 is a very bad phone! Always hangs and can not writting chinese word in message. Hangs ! Hangs! Hangs i when try to download solfware for maps and cybreon talking dictonary (twice time)..i trade in s740 and take nokia e75 ! I dont want buy htc phone again in my life !

karel, 26 May 2009im 4rm R.S.A.currently im using samsung g600 which is doing... moreyes theres a radio , no u cannot video call but its a 3g phone meaning u have 3g coverage u can do rest as4 gg im using micro 4gg......an is workin fine an portable ..easy to handle not complicated ......darlin
