HTC Sensation goes official, it's like an EVO 3D without the 3D
The HTC press conference in London is over and the HTC Sensation was the only announced handset. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, records 1080p videos and comes with an even better looking HTC Sense UI.
Check our live report straight from the event.
There was no (international) EVO 3D announcement, but we think the Sensation is pretty much the same except the 3D stuff. The Sensation is based on the same Snapdragon (but GSM-capable) chipset as the EVO 3D. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor, the Adreno 220 GPU and has 768MB RAM (the EVO 3D packsh 1GB though).
HTC Sensation also sports the same 4.3-inch qHD S-LCD display, but the camera department is quite different. Instead of a 5 megapixel 3D camera the Sensation offers an 8 megapixel snapper with dual-LED flash and 1080p video recording at 30 fps. HTC tweaked further the camera software and now you will be able to record your videos with stereo sound and capture pictures instantly (zero shot-to-shot time).
The new active lockscreen
The HTC Sense UI has been revamped too. It now offers active lockscreen, improved email app, better animations and even more realistic weather effects plus the new HTC Watch services for movies rental. Speaking of movies, HTC Sensation is capable of playing various videos formats including the XviD format straight out of the box.
There are a lot more features awaiting you in the HTC Sensation such as various connectivity options (incl. a MHL port), lots of sensors, secondary VGA video-call camera, 1GB storage, FM radio, etc.
Check out how the HTC Sensation matches the features of the Samsung Galaxy S II.
HTC Sensation will launch in May first exclusively in the European Vodafone network, while in June it will hit the shelves everywhere else.
The T-Mobile USA version of the Sensation is called Sensation 4G and will launch this summer.

Does Apps to SD Card working for all market's item? Because I heard that some of them cannot go to SD Card but to internal memory. If that the case then I'm worrying about only 1GB ROM. Anybody has a thought on that?
