Screen is awesome & processing is fast, camera is amazing... overall on of the best phone as per specs...
Only issue, major one, is battery life, doesn't last whole day... I mean its very hard to use cell with a low battery life.. HTC should develop batter one's than the one in this cell....

S2 includes divx as well as xivd in its video format wit all sensations video format
S2 has higher battery life
S2 has 16g internal storage and space for card slot sensation dont hav space for card slot
S2 has scratch resistant screen and it works pretty well sensation hav none
Its main feature over d s2 is jst its beat audio and headset wit its wider screen at 4.7 inch.......... So be wise

to all that have answered, thank you for your replies but i wasn't refering to the software upgrade, i was trying to say upgrade to an ICS DEVICE like Galaxy Nexus.

HTC will keep it , otherwise they will lose what we call " uniqueness " . Without sense, HTC is just simple. I am waiting for the upgrade too. :) will get it soon.

Hello
I currently own a Sensation XL. I would like to upgrade to an Ice Cream Sandwich device but I'm afraid to lose all of the Sense goodies. On the other hand I don't like the fact that htc has a very laggy interface(pulling down the notification bar, switching between homescreens etc). The Sensation XL is planned for an ICS upgrade but I really dislike the looks of the icons and fonts htc used for Sense. I love how the vanilla ICS looks, i love the fact google has implemented buttons within the screen. I like the HD screen and various other aspect related things the Nexus has. So on one hand I like how the Nexus looks, performs and the fact that it will always receive updates but I am worried I will lose facebook integration, smartdialing and other Sense goodies htc has covered.
TELL ME WHAT TO DO I'M VERY CONFUSED!

mega , 15 Mar 2012what about the battery ?!!! and which is the better [ gal... moreI think the Galaxy S2 has a better battery. It's 1650(S2) vs 1600( the XL which has 4.7 inch). HTC is weak at battery.

Yeah! that is 8.8GB storage and more than 3 GB on phone stoage , some memory use on Os and other memory on drop box

I'm using it and the memory is 8.8 Gb for music, pics , video and so on while 3.9 Gb is reserved for apps. Not 12Gb for use and the rest for apps like you said. Don try to give comment if you don own it.

i have the xl but didnt like the memory as stated on a few sites it has 16gb but when checked it only has 12.5gb but sites dont state this as been told they get information from manufacturers. ppl wont be happy when getting the phone if expecting 16gb really disappointed

I am absolutely confused as to which mobile to p... moreHi! I propose you the Galaxy Note if you want a phone with a BIG screen. The Note has a much better battery. The HTC Sensation XL has a very weak battery. If the Note is too big, I think you should go for the Galaxy S2. It's better than the Sensation XL. About the One X I don't know what to say. The LG Optimus 4X has a better battery(2140 vs 1800 mAh). The LG can support a memory card slot also. If you want a new phone badly, you can go for the Motorola Razr, which is a good phone too. By the way you can compare all the phones you want in this site. Please do it and see the differences. I would not propose you to go for Iphone, because they are limited. You can't send files via Bluetooth to other brands, unless you hack your phone. This is just an example.
If you like Sony, you can go for the Sony Xperia S. :)

I am absolutely confused as to which mobile to purchase.When I saw the specifications of HTC ONE X , I was totally convinced to buy it but when I learnt that its battery is in-built, I have started hesitating to buy it.Perhaps I would buy it if I am assured that the battery would be replaced if its performance undermines as apple company does.
I can buy iphone 4s but I would prefer a larger screen mobile as I like to browse most of the time.
I had also thought of buying Samsung galaxy S2 but read reviews of it,of which most of them are complaints about its battery performance.
Given the specifications of HTC ONE X, every other mobile appears second to it.
So please advise me as to which mobile is better to buy.Be it HTC,Samsung,Apple or Nokia or any other good mobile manufacturer.Large screen for browsing,High sensitivity touch screen and high battery performance are my requirements.Pleasse share your opinion.
