One of the best smartphone ever. gives executive look on hand. great battery timing and off course great great sound quality specially when listening to music through head phones. highly recommended. this phone will never get older.

thePresident, 11 Nov 2013Hello friends, how does the sensation xl handle its battery... moreI have owned one of these for 2 years now. The battery life was pretty good during the first few months of owning the phone. Would last me a day with me using it for facebook, messaging, calling, games etc. However, it started to become really bad meaning I would have to carry my charger around with me and charge it when I could.
Recently it randomly turned off and restarted itself. Looked it up and it is because the battery on this phone is not held in securely and so can move around disconnecting itself from the phone. I have placed a thin piece of plastic by cutting the end of a row of tablets (drugs not electronic tablets!) And now it has stopped turning off etc.
Overall battery life is ok, I know that most phones these days struggle to get through the day. Mine is 2 years old now and with my modification it lasts about 6 hours from being charged.
