I had a problem with the earpiece of the phone. I tried to have the handset replaced but the told that its already 9 days with and they cannot do anything but have it repaired and it will take more than a week for me to get it back. Its obvious that its defective. why dont they replace it.

This one is good, but the bad part is doesnt have much features on the customization part.
Like on contacts, profile customization.
Something strange is when i inserted my Memory card its not getting detected and i want to change ringtones,listen to music from the SD card but its not getting detected at all no matter how many ever times you remove it and re-insert it. Very strange one.

@siddharth;;plz go fr it its nice phone n fr app u can go to mobile9.com...and aftr buyng juts update ur rom frm htc site its just superb phone...bt ul have to cmpromise wid camera functions....n to install app u have to instal thm in java option in mobile rest all phone has gt loads of feature whch are required....

its just awesme phone in this range once u just gt ur phone software upgraded...samsung n all just gve cheap quality phone nt at all build gud in ths range....

I downloaded the ROM update yesterday and this morning i found the battery problem on my phone is going! These days i need to recharge my phone nearly twice a day with really a poor battery performance!And i also noticed that it seemed to have a antena problem as the searching icon on the right corner shown...anyway it's all gone now. Hey firends, if you do not just want to throw this phone away, you could try to update the ROM at HTC offical website. I am glad to have my phone back to normal again.

Don't buy this worst phone. It hangs everytime. A message comes on the screen "Oops, a system error has occurred. Restarting..."
I am repentant to buy this phone. The good looks had trapped me.

Pushkraj, 30 Nov 2010I am also facing the low battery life problem. i already tr... morehello there..after ur successful upgrade, you still need to do some certain compromises, like turning OFF:
1. weather updates
2. automatic time update(you set it to manual)
3. facebook/twitter/etc updates
4. location service update..etc..(less or unimportant stuffs)
-You should also adjust your display settings- your brightness should be at level 3 only,or lesser if you can manage
-Turn off all vibrations
-minimize ringing volume.
***my battery can last up to 5 days on the average,7 days if i dont play with it and just use it for text messaging and some minor calls, but 2-3 days if i use a lot of the apps, esp games and mp3
I have loaded up my sd card with a lot of files apps and games but still workin properly and efficiently..

summer, 30 Nov 2010how much did u pay for rom upgrading? thanks..hope to he... moreyou dont have to pay for anything.. you just have to download the rom upgrade to your computer from http://www.htc.com/fr/SupportViewNews.aspx?dl_id=978&news_id=687 , follow the steps and connect your phone to your pc.make sure you have also downloaded the htc sync...it's free.
