Updated ROM version to 1.0.405.95739 (from Check Republic HTC site) and now Obigo browser is no more beta, have Youtube, adds app for backup contacts, etc to memory card, more stability ...

i recently purchase this, fuck i never seen such a mobile, there is no option to zoom the picture while taking photos rather then videos. please my dear friends don't see only the clarity of this mobile please have thorough look of the other facilty comparing with sony, nokia,lg.,

ok had the htc smartphone 2 for bout a week and it does wot i want a phone to do it makes calls and sends texts what else you want a phone to do for this price touch screen is actually quite responsive to touch ok messages take nearly all of 2 secs to get into bout same time as it takes to press a button to go into ur inbox on any other phone lol as for internet surfing i thought ot was bloody quick on it

how can i transfer files from HTC smart to my PC? i do not want to use bluetooth, and my PC did not detect the disk drive ( i do not have SD card yet, it is saved to phone memory for now), even after downloading htc brew sync and sycing it. please help! i need to drag and drop into my PC...

well its a cut down desire. so it wont be quick not at 300mhz. think about at.
good budget phone for p.a.y.g other than its naff.

Have had this phone for a moth now and it sucks. Sorry HTC, you failed this time. Not very smart for a supposed smartphone. Multiple apps open at once? Sure! Except it can't. Isn't that one of the premises for it to qualify as a smartphone? The touch is somewhat slow as is the loading of messages. No downloadable app support either. Maybe should they should have waited for the Brew OS to have an app store or something. I'd rather suggest the Samsung star or Nokia 5530/5230. Similar prices, better function. Will be moving to the iPhone ASAP!!

not that bad of a phone. i only had it for a day so far and its been okay. all i found that was a little annoying was loading of the messages took awhile...a little sluggish there... besides that the touchscreen is pretty good and responsive. just lagging when using friends stream too. listening to music is pretty good. the earphones are respectable, the ones that come with it. the internet browser seemed at little mediocre. doenst really have a video player which is kinda stupid. but looking through photos is good. pretty good phone. think it is better than nokia 5233

Hi am once again telling .... don't get this mobile... all facilities are good... but battery sucks....... very worst... go for another mobile... i got the replacement as a new mobile... the second mobile is totally waste......please viewers all will tell good mobile... but dont go for it....

hi, m planning to buy htc smart, but have sme concerns.
First of all, does this phone has music player as i have not seen it in specification (though it has 256mb memory).
Plz tell does this smart phone hang ??
I have used K550i of sony ericson and by me that was the best phone ever (irrespective of any other companies's mobile set) for phones under Rs 8000 category, is this phone is better than that or equal to that phone
